Tonight October 15 2012, I went to video tape a lecture by Kazim held at St Mary's University in Halifax. I had never before heard of this guy until today when an acquaintance of mine brought me to this lecture. I listened to this unknown person put on a scripted and will memorized act while he read off his laptop. He babbled on and never said anything of intellectual value. He just talked about his boring life and how he one day read a book that turned him from anti-semite to a lover of Israel. He ridiculed events life 9-11. Anyway it was extremely difficulty in trying to keep listening to this guy. I could not find any reason to continue wasting my time and recording this guy. Below you can view the video I recorded of the lecture. Until I had enough. I spoke out loud in this University lecture room filed with very intelligent intellectual beings. I said out loud to my acquaintance. I can not listen to any more of this guy as I turned off my camera. Then I very loudly asked Kazim Hafeez,

"Name one thing good that Israel did for humanity"

I was shaken out of my seat when the whole room stood up and everyone screamed so loud in agreement. It was a standing ovation. After which that actor on the podium could never answer the question nor could he redeem Israel and his love. As I departed from the room I told him he nothing but a professional speaker and that he probably never wrote anything that he read. I told him, You are nothing but an actor. As I exit the lecture room it enters into a huge student lounge filled with students. They were all shocked looking but had no idea of why the lecture room came on fire. I can not confirm this but, I heard that after I departed all the police were called to a serious incidence happening at the university.

Kasim Hafeez Wingnut Muslim Zionist and Proud

http://www.deliberation.info/kasim-hafeez-wingnut-muslim-zionist-and-proud/ by Laura Stuart Sunday, April 29th, 2012 Yesterday Ynet published an article about Kasim Hafeez, a U.K. -born Pakistani Muslim who loves Israel. We dont have much information on just who Kasim Hafeez was before his current celebrity, but I feel sure he was someone very banal. How then did he propel himself onto the pages of an Israeli newspaper? WingNut The answer is really quite simple: by claiming to be a Muslim Zionist. Just how he reconciles his love of Israel with the reality of occupation and ethnic cleansing, is something he never bothers to explain. His metamorphosis from self-proclaimed budding jihadist to Israel-lover came after reading a book by Alan Dershowitz of all people! Dershowitz as we know, has worked tirelesly in attempting to label Gilad Atzmons book The Wandering Who as anti Semitic. Read about it here. Definitely Kasim Hafeez is an extremist a true extremist in the real meaning of the word. He also seems rather unstable. For example, he claims the following:-

When speaking to predominantly Jewish audiences, Kasim Hafeez often begins by saying the following words: When I was in university, I would have gladly killed every one of you.
But do I really believe him? How many students who were born in the U.K. really want to kill Jews? Many of us hate the actions of the Israeli state, but his story of his radicalisation at Uni just seems a bit too convenient at a time when Jewish pro-Israel lobby groups are trying their best to oppress University Islamic Societies. A quick look at the pro- Israel, Islamophobia award-winning Harrys place blog is educational as they openly discuss their tactics for controlling exactly which Islamic scholars get to speak to Muslims on Britains University Campuses. Personally, I think if I found myself sharing hall space with Kasim Hafeez I would back carefully towards the exit and this is largely due to his evidently unstable nature. His supposed upbringing by an anti-Semitic father who didnt think Hitler did a good enough job of killing Jews followed by his radicalisation at university followed by his visit to Israel where he apparently fell madly in love with the Jewish State his life story seems just a bit too fantastic and I must confess I am very sceptical about it. I really dont know why he chose to make this 180 degree turn from one extreme to the other although I suspect he may have found money and celebrity a huge motivator. I really fail to see why the Israelis are so excited about someone who can make such sudden changes of heart. What if he wakes up tomorrow feeling like killing Jews again? After all, with someone that unstable you never know. Surat an Nisa 4 143 Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to the believers nor to the disbelievers. And whoever Allah leaves astray never will you find for him a way.

Muslim, Zionist and proud

Op-ed: His father praised Hitler, but Kasim Hafeez writes about love for Israel, Jewish people Kasim Hafeez Published: 04.25.12, 17:27 /

I am a Zionist, a proud Muslim Zionist, and I love Israel, but this was not always the case. In fact, for many years I was

quite the extreme opposite. I experienced the high levels of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel activity taking place on British university campuses, because I was the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel activist. Growing up in the Muslim community in the UK I was exposed to materials and opinions at best condemning Israel, painting Jews as usurpers and murderers, and at worse calling for the wholesale destruction of the "Zionist Entity" and all Jews. In short, there was no accommodating a Jewish State in the Middle East. Hating Israel

The new anti-Semitism / Moshe Dann Op-ed: Anti-Israel campaign identifies Jews as immoral, Jewish state as historical fraud Full Story

To grow up around this constant barrage of hatred directed at Israel has a massive effect on an individuals own opinions. More disturbingly, many of these people werent radical or extreme, but when it was about Israel the most vicious of rhetoric poured out, coupled with the casual anti-Semitism that seemed too prevalent, when the phrase "stop being a Jew" used as an insult. My father, however, was much more brazen in his hatred, boasting of how Adolf Hitler was a hero, his only failing being that he didn't kill enough Jews. By the time I had reached 18 I was completely indoctrinated to the fold of radical Islamism. My hate for Israel and for the Jews was fuelled by images of death and destruction, set to the backdrop of Arabic melodies about Jihad and speeches of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah or Osama Bin Laden. These views were reinforced when I attended Nakba Day rallies, where speakers predicted Israel's demise as Hezbollah flags were waved proudly in the centre of London.

The Case for Israel

Was there a case for Israel? In my mind, of course not, there was no shadow of doubt. Even the most moderate clerics I came across refused to condemn terrorism against Israel as unjustified; the Jews must obviously deserve it, I believed. So what changed? How could I go from all this hatred to the great love for and affinity with Israel and the Jewish people? I found myself in the Israel and Palestine section of a local bookstore and picked up a copy of Alan Dershowitzs The Case for Israel. Given my worldview, the Jews and Americans controlled the media, so after brief look at the back, I scoffed thinking "vile Zionist propaganda." I did, however, decide to buy it, content that I would shortly be deconstructing this propaganda piece, showing that Israel had no case and claiming my findings as a personal victory for the Palestinian cause. Hafeez in Israel in a visit that changed his life As I read Dershowitzs arguments and deconstruction of many lies I saw as unquestionable truths, I searched despairingly for counter arguments, but found more hollow rhetoric that Id believed for many years. I felt a real crisis of conscience, and thus began a period of unbiased research. Up until that point I had not been exposed to anything remotely positive about Israel. Now, I didn't know what to believe. I'd blindly followed others for so long, yet here I was questioning whether I had been wrong. I reached a point where I felt I had no other choice but to see Israel for myself; only that way Id really know the truth. At the risk of sounding clich, it was a life-changing visit.

No apartheid state
I did not encounter an apartheid racist state, but rather, quite the opposite. I was confronted by synagogues, mosques and churches, by Jews and Arabs living together, by minorities playing huge parts in all areas of Israeli life, from the military to the judiciary. It was shocking and eye-opening. This wasn't the evil Zionist Israel that I had been told about. After much soul searching, I knew what I had once believed was wrong. I had been confronted with the truth and had to accept it. But I had a bigger question to confront, what now? Id for years campaigned against Israel, but now I knew the truth. The choice was obvious: I had to stand with Israel, with this tiny nation, free, democratic, making huge strides in medicine, research and development, yet the victim of the same lies and hatred that nearly consumed me. Doing this is not easy and thats something that has become very obvious. I have faced hostility from my own community and even some within the Jewish community in the UK, but thats the reality of standing up for Israel in Europe today. It is

not easy, and thats what makes it so necessary. This isnt about religion and politics; its about the truth. When it comes to Israel, the truth is not being heard, the ranks of those filed with blind hatred continue to swell, yet many have not been exposed to the reality, away from the empty rhetoric and politically charged slogans they are so fond of. We can change this situation but we need to be strong and united. Israel is not just a Jewish issue - its about freedom, human rights and democracy, all the values that Western nations cherish. Its also about trying to be a light among nations. Israels international humanitarian aidwork speaks for itself, but if we dont get the message out there, no one will. We dont have to be head-bowed apologists leading with :Israels not perfect" - we should never be afraid to say: I am a Zionist and Im proud. I stand with Israel. Now I ask, will you do that? Kasim Hafeez is a British Muslim and former Islamist who is now a proud Zionist and stands with Israel. He runs www.theisraelcampaign.org and has a blog on this site. He is also on the advisory board of StandWithUs in the UK and recently completed a university speaking tour For Hebrew version of article click here Pro-Israel bloggers are welcome to send emails to opinions@y-i.co.il . -----------------------------------------------------------------

On my way home I saw a picture for a missing girl a BLOCK away from my home. Things are turning ugly around here and the police REALLY have better things to do with their time than BABYSIT you. You talk about truth this, truth that the truth is Im NOT your acquaintance anymore and if you had any self respect you wouldnt have called me your acquaintance after you called the cops on me. Im ashamed to even know you now.

I allowed your comments. So that Not I can make your behavior public. I made sure the Police got your drugs you left behind and then tried to say it was not yours. I did not want your drugs getting me in trouble. I called the Police because you seem to be by-polar. You can seem very kind and then you can be the most scary individual. Your yelling at me and attacking my character because I insisted that we need a truth revolution. So why do you keep asking me for money and I always tell you I have none. On the way home you claimed to be very thirty and said you only can drink non fluoridated water. We went to the grocery store and I gave you my last two dollars. Then when we were at my place, you never touched the and gave me a rude response when I asked you if you were going to have some of the water. You were extremely violent to me and I as you and everyone knows I am very disabled and can barely walk.

I could never possibly defend myself in the event you got even more violent. I did not waste the police time. I needed you out of my home for my security. You once before exhibited your violent side and I excused it and gave you another chance. Anyway I will continue my response under your next comment.

Submitted on 2012/10/16 at 11:45 am First of all, it wasnt Dalhousie, it was St. Marys. Second, I would like the readers to know that I am the acquaintance in question, noted above, and I no longer consider myself Towseys acquaintance because he demonstrated his spinelessness and inability to absorb any criticism whatsoever by calling the police on me after I told him he had a big ego, more or less. We are in agreement about how Isreal sucks, but I have lost a LOT of respect for Towsey. I also worry, because Ive heard that he calls the police for petty things in the past and I think if he continues with this kind of behaviour, he will be dubbed the boy who cried wolf and one day the police (who have better things to do) wont come to his aid.

Submitted on 2012/10/16 at 3:04 pm | In reply to Amir Alwani. You kept interrupting my discussion about the world needing a truth revolution. You got very rude and extremely verbally aggressive. Like how about after we left from St.Marys you talking very loud and aggressive at me and repeatedly expressing anger at me because you think I should of signaled you when I made my statement so you could get it on video. Then you got even madder because I turned off my camera as I made that last statement. First of all I am not your baby sitter. How was I supposed to know you were not video taping at that moment? You were behind me. It is not my fault if you missed the moment.. I did tell you in advanced that I would be asking that question out loud. Plus I did turn around and speak to you telling you I could not listen to this guy anymore. Why did you not take my turning around and speaking out loud to you as a clue to get ready? You did not understand that, that is exactly why I turned around and spoke to you. You should of immediately turned on your camera.. You make the statement about me having a huge ego.. Wow a huge ego is what you have. You kept wanting me to go to your website and listen to your music and you did not want to hear anything I had to say. I on the other hand was talking about a world wide truth revolution. One with a huge ego, is one that is completely selfish.

Wanting a Truth revolution for the good of humanity is a completely unselfish thing. That then makes me not with an ego but one with huge enthusiasm for truth. You took my enthusiasm for ego.. You knew and understood the meaning of what I said and you got very violent when I refused to give up on the idea of a world wide truth revolution. So now the world knows you are the one who told me about the lecture and brought me to it Many Zionists are not going to like you for that. So now you too are their target. I spared you that by not mentioning who you were. Welcome aboard. Now you will start finding out the power of the Zionists in destroying an individuals life.
