Solar Resource and Forecasting Questionnaire

1. Part I: General Information

As someone who is familiar with solar energy issues, we hope that you will take a few moments to answer this short survey on your needs for information on solar energy resources and forecasting. This survey is conducted by the Kleissl Solar Resource and Forecasting Lab at the University of California, San Diego. Working with the California Solar Energy Collaborative (CSEC) and the California Solar Initiative (CSI) our objective is to develop better (more accurate, higher spatial and temporal resolution) solar resource and forecasting products to meet the needs of residential, commercial, and public customers at a time when the solar energy industry is taking off. Therefore, we would like to receive your input on what types of solar resource information and solar forecasting research you think will be most useful to your activities. We will use this feedback to guide solar resource assessment efforts and forecasting in the coming years. While the outcomes of the survey will be publicly available, individual questionnaires will be kept confidential. Thank you for your effort!
