Apple Crumble

Ingredients:
100g P. flour 50g butter 25g caster sugar pinch of cinnamon 2 medium cooking apples 1 tablespoon water

Equipment:
large mixing bowl saucepan wooden spoon scales spoon knife ovenproof dish

Options:
raspberries summer fruits nutmeg rolled oats

Oven: 180C

Method:
1. Put the oven on. 2. Cut the apples into chunks and add to the pan with a little water on a low heat. Put the lid on the pan and gently simmer. 3. While they are stewing make the crumble topping. 4. Add the flour to the large mixing bowl. 5. Rub in the butter with fingertips until it forms fine breadcrumbs. 6. Once the apples are soft, add the cinnamon and a little sugar, give a little stir. Pour it into the dish. 7. Carefully spoon on the crumble mixture, making sure you cover all of the fruit underneath. 8. Put the dish into the oven and bake until golden brown (around 25 minutes). 9. Remove from oven let it cool slightly.
