Dear Friends,
On December 2nd the gathering of over 425 Bahs at Tysons Westpark Hotel in McLean was more than a very successful fundraising event. It engendered joy, the renewal of old friendships, and unity of vision among area communities developing Bah Centers. It focused our collective minds and hearts on generating the means for creating a large Center to accommodate the many large gatherings that will be needed by the communities of Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC as they grow. A large Center to serve as a powerful instrument for diffusing the spirit of the Faith. A Center for the promotion of the Five Year Plan and subsequent Plans and Goals of Universal House of Justice. The physical reality of our vision.
It was an opportunity to share a proposed plan for a Multi-Purpose Building the rst building of the Master Plan for the 43 acres and to receive suggestions and ideas.
On behalf of our region we express deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of Pledges, Contributions and Ticket Purchases. After expenses for the hotel and program the resulting cash proceeds to the property will exceed $65,000 !! Plus, 3 additional units were pledged through automatic bank withdrawal, raising total units pledged in this manner to 83. A unit is a dollar a day for a year, or $365.
We cherish the hope, God Willing, that the expenses that we bear today for rental of hotel and public facilities may one day be channeled directly into development of Bah property.

The property is located a few minutes south of the D.C. Beltway at 11111 Riverview Road, Fort Washington, Maryland. It is administered by the Spiritual Assemblies of Prince Georges County South and Montgomery County SE.
