SAP E-Sourcing Projects

Enhancements in SAP E-Sourcing 5.1

Creating a project from a UDO You can create a project from a user-defined object (UDO). This functionality is enabled for all five of the available UDOs. The data in all field extensions with matching ID and data type is copied over.

Business Benefits
This provides a standard solution to the most often-used strategic sourcing business process, where a UDO is created to capture sourcing requests and opportunities. A sourcing professional later reviews these requests before creating a project.

SAP E-Sourcing RFx

Enhancements in SAP E-Sourcing 5.1

Submitting an RFx response Suppliers can use a Submit button instead of performing a response phase change for a request for proposal (RFP) or request for quotation (RFQ) or request for information (RFI).

Business Benefits
With this feature, suppliers no longer have to change the phase of the response to submit their responses. Now it is very intuitive for suppliers, who often have very little training on the application.
