........and Why You Should: Become a Part of the Successful 3% Who Do.
Do you have clearly defined written goals? Research shows that those people who actually sit down and write out their goals not only end up achieving them, but have greater incomes and elevated perceived success and satisfaction. Many people think setting goals is just for managers or business owners. Not so! Mark McCormack, in his book What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School, tells of a Harvard study conducted between 1979 and 1989. In 1979, the graduates of the MBA program were asked, "Have you set clear, written goals for your future and made plans to accomplish them?" It turned out that only 3 percent of the graduates had written goals and plans. Thirteen percent had goals, but not in writing - 84 percent had no specific goals at all. Ten years later researchers found that the 3 percent of graduates who had clear, written goals when they left Harvard were earning, on average, 10 times as much as the other 97 percent of graduates all together. FACT: All successful people have goals, and outstanding high achievers have clearly defined written goals. So why do so few people actually write out their goals? Many people say they can't be bothered to take the time to sit and write them out, preferring to keep them in their heads. The real reasons are probably deeper, involving the fact that if goals are kept in the head, they are easy to change, revise and ignore. This avoids personal accountability. Looking further into the reasons, we find the following:

Whether you are celebrating Chanukah, Christmas or Festivis we are all about to embark on an eating frenzy. And, as Louis Prima once sang ... grab yourself a platter and dig,dig,dig, right in. This is definitely not the time to worry about calories, that's what New Years resolutions are for. I remember when I was in Paris one year at Christmas time, walking down rue de St. Honore with all the pastry shop windows filled to the brim with the most gorgeous cakes and tarts and marzipan. Then, stopping at Angelina's Salon de The for a bowl of hot chocolate that was so dense the spoon practically stood up in the bowl. And, if that weren't enough it was served with a small bowl of fresh whipped cream! Between the tartlettes and the chocolates and marzipan, I must have consumed five pounds of fat in one day!! Yu m , Yu m . Since mostly no restaurant were open on Christmas, my sister and I decided to purchase food and drink the day before and enjoy our own dinner on the balcony of our hotel room. We purchased a kilo of fois gras from Les Trois Cochon, a pan de raison from Lenotre along with a chestnut tartlette and a magnum of Tattinger. What a spectacular meal we had indeed. I highly recommend to spend Christmas in Paris if you get the opportunity. I have pretty much stuck to that menu except nowadays, I purchase a kilo of fois gras and the pan de rasion from our local french bakery that has it flown in. They make lovely tartlettes as well, and of course a bottle of Tattinger. I hope you all enjoy your favorite holiday meals as I will. And remember the New Year will wipe away all your sins of over indulgence!!! 28 South Florida Real Estate Guide I am providing you with a recipe for cranberry bread this month as we all probably have a can or two of cranberries floating around and or that half a bag leftover from Thanksgiving. I like to make small loaves and give them as gifts and freeze some to have ready for a quick appetizer. I make mini sandwiches that I fill with either turkey and cheese or ham and cheese and slather them with honey mustard. They go down great with a nice glass of champagne. Leftovers are great toasted for breakfast with butter or cream cheese.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2 (8x4) or 6 mini loaf pans with cooking spray or line with parchment Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine and blend wet ingredients until smooth. Add dry mixture to wet and stir just till combined. Fold in nuts. Pour into bans and bake for about 45min for large loaves or 25-30 min for mini loaves. Rotate half way through and test with toothpick. When toothpick comes out clean they are done. Cool till you can handle the pans and turn them out onto a rack to cool completely.

Head north and at Orlando make a turn to the west coast. We did this in July and had a fantastic trip. True, there were not to many manatees there at that time, but we managed to see 5 while we were puttering around on the pontoon boat we had rented. You can book a charter, but there was only four of us and we didnt want to be in a big group. If you can captain a boat, the pontoon boats are a great way to relax and explore not only looking for manatees, but you can make your way to some beautiful springs. At that time we did not wear wetsuits....it was cold at first but once in the water if felt great. Until you get to the springs. Then its cold...but worth it! This time of year you have to wear wet suits, the water is too cold to just jump in. We stayed at Plantation on Crystal River, but there are other hotels in the area to spend a couple of nites.
