MANUAL FOR PRE TEST (MODUL HALUS)


1. Teacher distributes the question papers. 2. Pupils answer the questions. 3. No discussion is needed.
4. Teacher gives the answers after pupils finish answering the questions.

MANUAL FOR TEACHING PAPER 2 SECTION A Sentence Construction (MODUL HALUS)


Set induction
1. Teacher shows a picture and asks pupils to study it carefully.

2. Get pupils to orally name the related vocabulary nouns and verbs in the picture. 3. After that, let them categorize the nouns in the table.

Closure 1. Teacher reemphasizes the teaching points, pupils reflect upon what they have learnt.

MANUAL FOR POST TEST (MODUL HALUS)


Set induction 1. Teacher explains the topic for the day which is focusing on nouns in Section A (paper 1). 2. Teacher gives handouts on how to tackle the question 3. teacher gives some tips on how to look for the answers. Eg: 2. Encik Mat Husin is a good ______________. He produced many interesting watercolour drawings. A artist B singer C painter D architect

Here, the teacher can tell the pupils how to find the keywords in order to choose the best answer. Teacher can explain to pupils that the keyword for that particular question is watercolour drawings. This keyword can be associated with artist. So, the answer would be A.

While
1. Teacher gives the questions to pupils and they answer them in 30 minutes. 2. Teacher assists pupils in answering the questions and they may ask if they have any

difficulties in understanding difficult words or questions.

Closure 1. Teacher discusses the answer with the pupils. 2. Teacher should go through the questions one by one and explains how they get the answer (refer back to keywords and tips). Prepared by :
