Merry Christmas from the Seebos We have had a full year of travel, family fun and job changes.

In February we spent a week at Snowshoe with Shawn, Gabbie, Jeremy, Mac Shawn and her family enjoying the slopes. Mackenzie is flying down the slopes and Jon tries to keep her in his sight. As a reward for an excellent report card, Jon and Mackenzie returned to Snowshoe in March for a weekend adventure. During that time Vicki found out that half the leadership in her department was being displaced and after a week of rumor and uncertainty, Vicki was glad to find out she still had a job. The economy being what it is, Jon went back to work full time as a department manager for Lowes. In April, Jon, Vicki, Mac, Jeremy (Shawns husband) and Gabble (Shawns oldest) went to Pigeon Forge for our annual Easter vacation trip. It was very cold, but we all had fun exploring Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smokey National Park. During the summer Mackenzie, attended Camp Eagle, a church camp right behind our property. She did three weeks of overnight camping and the rest of the summer she attended their day camp. She accepted Christ into her life during the first week of camp and looks forward to becoming a camp counselor in the future. She continues to grow that relationship with Christ by attending Sunday school and Wednesday night Kids Kamp. She also learned how to canoe and kayak, so of course she needed to share this new adventure with Jon. They both took several canoe and kayak trips down our local James River. Jon needed to tow Mac on the last trip and vowed the next time he is getting a kayak with a motor. Jon and Mackenzies August birthday week was spent in Pigeon Forge, where they enjoyed a birthday treat of Zip-lining through the canopy of the Great Smokies. October found us in Lancaster, PA where we spent a weeks of searching out the covered bridges of Lancaster County, maneuvering through a 10 acre corn maze, visiting President Buchanans

home, geo-caching, visiting with Vickis parents and sister, and Jons sister-in-law. On November 15th Shawn blest us with a grandson, Tanner Scott Goyer. At 10 pounds 7 ounces, he is one big fellow. She sold her house and is planning to build a new home about 500 yards from our house. Nikki has an apartment in Roanoke and is attending school while working full time and raising Nevaeh. She is expecting another child sometime in February and we keep her in our prayers. Mackenzie keeps herself busy with her new passion of Karate and is spending weekends helping a friend take care of horses. Jon has taught her gun safety and how to shoot rifles and hand guns. She is a quick study and an excellent shot, who is looking forward to her first hunt. Vicki is teaching her to sew and quilt which gives Jon a break from all the physical activities. She continues to excel in her school work with straight As during the first two marking periods. Vicki received a promotion at work in November and is enjoying learning that new position. She is still quilting and cross stitching in her spare time. Jon continues to work on the house, and tends to his 93 year old mother (who is in a nursing home). He has taken up golf again and plays weekly with coworkers. Well, that brings you up to date with us. We wish you a happy healthy 2013. Love Jon, Vicki and Mackenzie email: macvicjon@me.com
