Sub: Payment of semester fees for January 2013 Session - Reg. ****** The Semester fees for January 2013 session will be collected from the existing research scholars (including erstwhile AUTs) during January 2 9, 2013 between 10.00 A.M and 5.30 P.M (except on 05.01.2013 and 06.01.2013) as scheduled below. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Director (Research), Anna University payable at Chennai obtained from any Nationalized Bank drawn on or after 24.12.2012. The Registration number and name of the research scholar should invariably be written on the back side of the D.D. The research scholars registered at erstwhile AUTs should remit their fees in the respective Regional Office. Fees payment will be accepted only with the Semester Progress Report for the period July - December 2012 duly signed by the Supervisor, Joint supervisor (if any) and Head of the Department/Director of the Centre of the Supervisor. FEE COLLECTION DATES 02.01.2013 to 2 PART - TIME Rs.7550/09.01.2013 Tuition fee is exempted for Full-time Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates. Sl. Last date for payment of fees and submission of progress report 23.01.2013 with fine of Rs.500/Last date for readmission and submission of progress report with 31.01.2013 fine & readmission fee of Rs.1500/If fees are not paid on or before 31.01.2013, registration of the scholars will be cancelled without any further notice.

Note: 1. The Regional Office will collect the fees till 31.01.2013. 2. Fees shall be paid till the submission of thesis at the respective Regional Office even if the files are transferred to the Anna University, Chennai. 3. Scholars registered in Anna University whose files were handled in Regional Centres, shall pay their fees at the Regional Office as mentioned below GCT, Coimbatore - Regional Office, Coimbatore. INSTRUCTION TO THE SCHOLARS

The Research scholars who come for the payment of fees for the semester, January June 2013 should enclose the following documents duly filled in and signed by the Supervisor, Joint Supervisor (if any) and Head of the Department/Director of Centre of the Supervisor with seal 1. Fee Challan with necessary Demand Draft. 2. Enrollment/Registration renewal form. 3. Semester Progress Report for the period July December 2012 along with a typed report on the work carried out during that period (in about 300 words). 4. Course work Registration form (if the scholar is registering for the course work). 5. Photocopy of the Extension order (if the scholar is in extension period). 6. For Part-time scholars, Signature of the Head of the Department/Head of the Organization of the scholar (where the scholar is working) with seal should be obtained in the Semester Progress report. Fee challan, Registration renewal form, Semester progress report format, etc. shall be downloaded from the website www.annauniv.edu/research

The research scholars who have not paid the fees till 31.01.2013 shall be directed to remit their fees only in the O/o. Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai and not to be collected at the Regional Office. The Regional Directors are requested to send the demand drafts (attached with audit copy) collected from the research scholars with their name list & fees collection details along with a soft copy on or before 08.02.2012 to avoid audit objection. Further, you are requested to file the progress report with Fee challan
