Easily create free online quizzes and tests for your students. Since this is a web based program it is highly versatile and can be used on Mac, tablet and smartphone devices. Our IT department has partnered with ClassMarker to allow students to use their district provided credentials to log in to take the test and allow us to track their results more easily. Free and cloud based. With this software you can create a form(quiz/test) that students can be required to sign-in to their google account to track their results OR they can enter their information as part of the forms questions. With the forms builder you can create multiple choice, true/false, short answer and open-ended questions. You no no longer have to keep up with papers from students or try to decipher their handwriting. Using a plug-in called Flubaroo, you can even have it grade itself. Results are all exported to a spreadsheet for easy sorting. Free and Fee ($130) cloud based Common Core collaboration, assessment, and reports. The free version allows you to only create assessments up to 10 questions long. Print bubble sheets and use a document camera to scan the answer sheets to auto score. Create web/iPod/iPad based assessments in line with Common Core standards. Grady Prole is a system based student and teacher electronic portfolio creator and manager. It is available for MAC and PC free of charge. It allows you to easily compare assignments to see student progress over a period of time. Kwik Surveys is an free and easy way to quickly create a quiz for a formative assessment to check understanding. It is web based so is it accessible by most web enabled devices.

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet software program found on our district computers. It can be used to track, compare, and chart data in a variety of ways. The data will not tell you what to do, but should show you what needs to happen.

Open ofce is very similar to google doc. s and Microsoft Ofce. It contains a spreadsheet program that is free to download and capable of being ran on MAC or PC operating systems. This is NOT web based. This is a free project based learning checklist generator. Select the subject and grade. Then, select categories from drop-down menus and determine which criteria you would like to include, or write your own! Roger Wagners HyperStudio 5 is a multimedia presentation creator. It will run on both Microsoft Windows and MAC OS X. It gives you a 30-day free trial but to purchase to use it after that time frame it is $90. With this students can create graphics, clickable links and embed audio and video into their presentations.

A quick and easy way to create a rubric to grade projects, papers, performances, etc... It has built in suggestions for categories depending on what subject and type of assignment it is for. You also have the ability to create your own categories and requirements. Create a free account and you can save your rubric for easy editing later. This is a cloud based testing program. Nothing to install. However it is not free. It is $10.95 per student with a 100 student minimum. However, it gives you the ability to administer exams across multiple platforms.

An easy way to create an administer a formal assessment. Create the multiple choice question, answers and allow students to access the poll via any web enabled devices. Results are then displayed in a graph letting you know their level of understanding.
