Attachment crank/link, and valve: An attachment crank/link is standard for all available heads. The attachment valve has been relocated to improve overall felling head efciency and cycle times. Also, the simplied design has resulted in over 100 fewer feet of hoses and tubes, and 20 fewer connections.

At the core of the J-Series improved daily and long-term fuel efciency is a streamlined hydraulic system. Meanwhile, the newly styled optional Flexxaire fan system reduces debris buildup, ensuring cooler, more efcient hydraulics. And better service access and a cleaner hydraulic layout require fewer parts making service and maintenance a breeze.

The optional Flexxaire system is a pneumatically actuated variable-pitch fan, controlled by a timer and manual purge switch. At regular intervals the fan will reverse airow direction to blow debris out of the radiator. The operator can reverse the airow through the coolers manually at any time via a switch in the cab.
