Introduction Background
Balochistan is a vast yet sparsely populated country occupied and divided forcefully by Iran and Pakistan. For decades nationalist sentiments have driven the Baloch people to demand for an end to the occupation of their land. A renewed armed conflict for independence from Iran and Pakistan emerged at the beginning of this century,led by various organizations. The conflict has grown in its complexity often escalating when the governments on both sides of the Goldsmith line tried to find a military solution. One of the most improvished places in the subcontinent it is also one of the most isolated .Yet it is the richest land in resources like oil, gas and minerals .An scattered population ,no international media access and low education ratio also make it a safe place for military mights like Iran and Pakistan to keep on conducting human rights abuses .The ethnically different armies have been given a free hand to conduct massacres ,kidnapping, ethnic cleansing and other inhuman tactics to suppress the freedom movement .Large number of Baloch have been forced to live as refugees either in Afghanistan or as internally displaced people .The issue of enforced disappearances is one of the many tragedies the nation is facing today .The educated and nationalist people are haplessly whisked away on daily basis by the Pakistani and Iranian armies .Most of them are then killed extra judicially in a systematic way and their bodies are dumped often unrecognizable .To provide attestation to this reality and show the real face of those inhuman minds involved ,we at Baloch martyrs page are trying to collect some of the data and share it with the global peace loving people . 2012 was also not a good year for the Baloch as there seemed to be no end to the human rights violations, killing, torture or bombardments. Nor did an end come to the economical, lingual and cultural marginalization and repression. Below is a list of 226 of the Baloch people who were killed by the Pakistani or Irani army or State forces in 2012 .The list is in no way complete as we do not have reporters at the isolated places. Most of the martyrs are buried silently and relatives are reluctant to speak out, fearing reprisal from the state forces if ever this silence is broken .This pathetic condition and the armys blockade of media makes it impossible for anyone to enlist all those that got killed .Some of the victims will simply be unknown forever ,buried under the earth of history.
January Incidents
1stJanuary : A bullet riddled dead body of Babo Salim Badini Baloch was found in Dasth area of Mastung , he was abducted by Pakistani military on 15th / December / 2011 from Quetta . 2ndJanuary : A bullet riddled dead body of a missing shop keeperWazir KhanMarri Baloch was found in Quetta , he was abducted by Pakistani military on 1st/ September / 2011 from his shop at Hazar Ghanji area of Quetta Balochistan . 3rdJanuary : A bullet riddled dead body of Mohammad Murad Baloch was found in Hub , he was abducted by Pakistani military on 10th/ December / 2011 from Hub.Separately another bullet riddled dead body of Abdul Sattar Bugti Baloch was found in Dera allah yar . In another incident a bullet riddled dead body of Jameel Baloch was found in Dasht . 4thJanuary : Pakistani military opened indiscriminate firing on innocent Baloch farmers , as a result two farmers were killed and they were identified as : Gabru Bugti Baloch and Shambo Bugti Baloch . 13thJanuary : Two bullet riddled dead bodies were found in Chagi , they couldnt been identified , presumably they are Kill and dump policy victims . 16thJanuary : A bullet riddled dead body of Wazir Khan Marri Baloch was found in Hub , he was abducted by Pakistani military from his work place in Karachi on 31st / December / 2011 . Separately a bullet riddled dead body was found inMashkeel , but could not be identified due to extreme torture . In other incident a bullet riddled dead body of Lal Mohammad Marri was found in Quetta . 20thJanuary : Pakistani military opened indiscriminate firing on civilians in Dera Bugti , which resulted in the death of a woman named Jannat Bibi Bugti Baloch . 22ndJanuary : Three bullet riddled dead bodies were found in Dera Bugti including a woman , they couldnt been identified .They were the target of Paki kill and dump policy . 28thJanuary : Pakistani military launched a massive military operation in Dera Bugti , threecivilian including a woman were killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and firing . Separately the bullet riddled dead body of Shoungal Bugti Baloch was found in Dera Bugti .In another incident , two bullet riddled dead bodies was found in Hub , they were identified as Sikandar Mengal Baloch and Abdul Qadir Mengal Baloch . 31stJanuary : Brahamdag Bugits sister Zammur Bugti Baloch along with her daughter Jannat Bebe and driver were killed by Pakistani Secret agencies in Karachi .Brahamdag is the president of Baloch Republican party .

1stFebruary :A decomposed dead body of a victim of Paki kill and dump policy was discovored in Ormara , but could not be identified . 2ndFebruary :Haji Mohammad Ramzan Baloch , who was the father of martyr Majeed Zehri Baloch ( who was previously abducted by Pakistani military and extra judicially killed under custody ) was murdered by Pakistani death squad in Khuzdar . 4thFebruary : Two protesters were shot dead by Pakistani military while they were protesting against the killing of Brahamdag Bugtis sister and niece in Sibbi . 11thFebruary : Pakistani military launched a massive military operation in Dera Bugti , four civilian including two children were killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and firing . 12thFebruary : The bullet riddled dead body of Saeed Ahmad Khan Marri Baloch was found in Quetta , he was abducted by Pakistani military from Margat . 13thFebruary : The bullet riddled dead body of Haji Jan Mohammad Marri Baloch was found in Lasbelah , he was abducted by Pakistani military from Karachi on 11th / February / 2011 . Separately the bullet riddled dead body of Baloch Republican Party [ BRP ] leader Sangat Sana Baloch was found in Turbat , he was abducted by Pakistani military on 7th / December / 2009 from Kolpor . In two other incidents, the bullet riddled dead body of Bakshal Khan Bugti Baloch was found in Hub and also the bullet riddled dead body of Chakar Khan Baloch was found in Chagi . 16thFebruary : Hafiz Abdul Qadir Baloch , father of martyr Sami Mengal Baloch ( who was previously abducted by Pakistani military and extra judicially killed under custody ) was murdered by Pakistani death squad in Khuzdar . 20thFebruary : Two activists of Baloch Republican Party [ BRP ] were killed by Pakistani police in Panjgour , they were identified as : Faraaz Karim Baloch and Faisal Basheer Baloch . 21stFebruary : Abdi Baloch along with the others were killed by the Iranian Besseige in Lashar . 24thFebruary : A bullet riddled dead body was found in Dhalbandin , but was not identified due to extreme deformities caused by torture . 27thFebruary :: Mohammad Ramezi Baloch , a leader of Baloch Republican Party [ BRP ] was killed by Pakistani military in Dera Bugti . 27thFebruary : Two Women were killed by the Iranian Besseige while they were peacefully protesting . 29thFebruary : A bullet riddled dead body was found in Mastung , but could not be identified due to extreme torture . March Incidents
1st March :The bullet riddled dead body of pro freedom tribal elder Rahim Dad Nechari Baloch was found in Mastung , he was abducted by Pakistani military from Mastung on 9th / December / 2011 . 2ndMarch : Bullet riddled dead body of Fateh Mohammad Marri Baloch was found in Pishin . Separately two other bullet riddled dead bodies were found in Hub and they were identifiedas : Mohammad Hassan Baloch and Abdul Rehman Baloch . 3rdMarch : The bullet riddled dead body of Abdul Gaffar Bangulzai was found in Naseer Abad . In another incidentbullet riddled dead bodies of four Baloch Republican Party [ BRP ] activists were found in Dera Bugti , they were identified as : Zahro Bugti Baloch , Lanbo Bugti Baloch , Rahim Baksh Bugti Baloch and Mangal Bugti Baloch . 14th March :Pakistani military launched a massive military operation in Dera Bugti , twelve civilian including women and children were killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and firing , the victims of deadly military operation were identified as : Hangal Bugti Baloch , Wadera Abdul Rehman Baloch , Godda Bugti Baloch , Band Ali Bugti Baloch , Gull Mohammad Bugti Baloch , Dorro Bugti Baloch , Karim Baksh Bugti Baloch , Barri Bugti Baloch , Janar Bugti Baloch , Jalal Khan Bugti Baloch , Padho Bugti Baloch and Raanal Bugti Baloch . 30thMarch :An old women named Bibi Sazi Bugti Baloch was brutally tortured by Pakistani military and then burnt alive . 31stMarch : The bullet riddled dead body of Rahim Baksh Bugti Baloch was found in Dera Bugti . Separately bullet riddled body of Din Mohammad Pirkani was discovered in the same area.

1st April : A bullet riddled dead body of a 14 year student who was a cousin of martyr Faqir Ajiz Shahwani Baloch ( previously abducted by Pakistani military and extra judicially killed under custody ) was found in Mastung , he was abducted by Pakistani military from Mastung on 25th / January / 2011 . 5thApril : A bullet riddled dead body of Sabzal Bugti Baloch was found in Dera Bugti . 6thApril : Two bullet riddled dead bodies were found in Mastung , they were identified as : Abdul Manan Pirkan Baloch and Abdul Raheis Raisani Baloch . 11thApril : Two bullet riddled dead bodies were found in Khuzdar , they were identified as : Abdul Wahab Baloch and Shah Nawaz Baloch . 12thApril : A bullet riddled dead body of Washo Bugti Baloch was found in Dera allah yar . 13th April : Pakistani military launched a massive military operation in Dera Bugti , eight civilian including women and children were killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and firing . Separately the bullet riddled dead body of Baloch Republican Party [ BRP ] leader Rakhia Bugti Baloch was found in Jaffar Abad . 14thApril : The bullet riddled dead body of Ali Raza Bugti Baloch was found in Dera Alla Yaar. 15th April : Pakistani military launched a massive military operation in Dera Bugti , a woman named Aziza Bibi Baloch along with her infant was killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and firing . Separately bullet riddled dead body of Abdul Latif Jattak Baloch was found in Khuzdar. In another incident a bullet riddled dead body was found in Quetta but he could not be identified due to torture and putrefaction. 18thApril :Shera Baloch who was abducted earlier ,his dead body was found in Dera Bugti. 22ndApril :Khan Mohammad Marri Baloch was an elder pro independent tribal f , he was abducted by Pakistani military on 25th/ March / 2012 from New Kahan ,his body was also dumped.In another incident a bullet riddled dead body was found in Quetta but the decayed body was not identified. 23rdApril : The bullet riddled dead body of Jahangir Baloch was dumped ,he was abducted earlier . 25thApril : The bullet riddled dead bodies of two youths were found in Quetta , they were identified as : Nadeem Baloch and Gulam Nabi Baloch . 26thApril : The bullet riddled dead body of Sona Khan Bangulzai Baloch was found in Quetta . 27thApril : Pakistani military conducted a minor operation on the village of Gebon .Rockets , grenades and automatic weapons were used , four Baloch were killed due to indiscriminate bombardment and shelling and they were identified as : Aslam Shahsawar Baloch , Mohammad Ali Baloch , Adam Baloch and Hassan Baloch .
May Incidents
1stMay : The bullet riddled dead bodies of two youths were found in Uthal , they were identified as : Dil Murad Marri Baloch and Murad Ali Baloch . 3rdMay : The bullet riddled dead body of Shah Zaman Baloch was found in Mastung . 5thMay : Haroon Bugti Baloch and his aged mother were killed when they stepped on a landmine planted by Pakistani military . 5thMay : Three Baloch were killed when they stepped on a landmine planted by Pakistani military , they were identified as : Shah Nawaz Bugti Baloch , Leerani Bugti Baloch , Zar Khatun Baloch ( woman ) . 9thMay :Two youths were killed and dumped in Windar , they were identified as : Tariq Baloch and Fawad Baloch. 19thMay :A Baloch journalist named Razzaq Gul Baloch was abducted on 18th May from in front of his house in Turbat , his dead body was dumped early in the morning in Turbat .Separately two bullet riddled dead bodies of young men were found on the same day and they were identified as : Abdul Qudous Baloch and Abdul Khaliq Baloch . 20thMay : Majed Dagarzahi Baloch , a student and the youngest brother of martyr Nasir Dagarzahi Baloch ( who was previously abducted by Pakistani military and extra judicially killed under custody ) was murdered by Pakistani death squads in Kharan . 28thMay : Bullet riddled dead bodies of three youths were found in Quetta , they were identified as : Shah Nawaz Marri Baloch , Khan Mohammad Marri Baloch and his brother Mohammad Nabi Marri Baloch . Separately two other bullet riddled dead bodies of were found in Dera Bugti and they were identified as : Ali Khan Bugti Baloch and Wali Mohammad Bugti Baloch . Meanwhile the bullet riddled dead body of Nasir Hayaat Baloch was dumped at Karachi . Also in a similarincident, two bullet riddled dead bodieswere found .One was identified as Habibullah and the other could not be identified. On the very same day bullet riddled dead bodies of Shah Nawaz and Meer Khan were found in Hub . 31stMay : Two Baloch youths named Ali Baksh Qambarzahi Baloch and Ali Baksh Qambarzahi Baloch were killed by Iranian forces in Dalbandin .

9thJune : The bullet riddled dead body of Mehrullah Baloch was found in Hub . 18thJune : ISI sponsored forces killed two internally displaced Bugti Baloch (IDPs) in Rahim Yar Khan , Punjab , the victims were identified as : Ali Bux Bugti Baloch and Nabi Dost Bugti Baloch . 19thJune :A senior teacher and educationalist Master Nazeer Marri was killed by Pakistani death squadsin Quetta . 20thJune :Rahim Baksh , a prominent doctor ,social worker and pro-independence worker was killed by secret agencies in Karachi . 26thJune : The bullet riddled dead bodies of two youths were found in Quetta , they were identified as : Asghar Ali Shah Baloch and Boland Khan Baloch . 30thJune : Malik Noor Qambrani Baloch , a prominent political worker , was killed by Pakistani death squad in Quetta .
