In my opinion social net work is online social that you use for talk about yourself with other people by using mobile phone, computer or tablets. Some people dont want to talk only with their friends but they want to talk with someone who they didnt know each other before by post picture, text or vdo. However photo is the most popular thing that people use for present their life style, what they have, what they want to show with other people in the world. In 2010 is have one application which was developed by burbn,inc. It available for download on app store which the main application by apple. People who use apple product can buy and download this apps for free. What is instagram and Why they are so popular in social network?

WHAT IS INSTAGRAM ? In October 2010, there was program that use for free photo sharing program and social network. The service for this program is user just take photo and apply a digital lter to it, and then share with other instagram user they are connect with social network as well as on a variety of social network service. For the lter in program is look similar to Kodak instamatic and polaroid image and also they have lter call aspect ratio which can make normal picture from mobile camera make it more interesting and another beautiful lter which all of lter is make picture look different feeling. In the beginning of Instagram is only support on iphone, ipad and ipod touchand. After 2 year in April 2012, the company added support for android user which android version has to be 2.2(Froyo) or higher (Froyo is the name of android operating system version). Android user can download Instagram from google play which is working like iTunes app. In the future not over the end of 2012, they will make an application to support windows mobile 8 which will be fully support with all operating system in 2013. ///////////// ///////////// /////////////

THE HISTORY Instagram was developed in San Francisco by Kevin Systrom and Michel Krieger. They try to develop the multifeatured HTML5 check-in project Burbn (name of company) on mobile photography. On March 2010, Systrom closed a $500,000 seed funding round from Baseline Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz while working on Burbn. Josh joined the company as Community manager. In November 2010, Shayne and Jassica Zollman come to work with instagram as an engineer and Community Evangelist. Hash tags(#) is the new option that instagram use for help user to discover photographs which working like Google. User just type some keyword that user want to search and picture which related with that key word will show on the screen. In September 2011, version 2.2 went live in the iOS. Its includes news and live lter and high resolution photographs, rotation, update icon and borders for picture.

PROFIT & INVESTMENT The company value is raised $7 million in February, 2011 funding from a variety of investors, including Benchmark Capital, Jack Dorsey, Chris Sacca and Adam DAngelo which on that time the value of is Instagram is around $25 million us dollars. Instagram on Android is released! It was happen in April 2012. However, only one day the number of download is around 1 million time and in that same week the value of instagram is raised 50 million dollars from venture capitalists which share of company is process valued at 500 million dollars. In 3 months Instagram was rated more than 1 million time on Google play which was the 5th app ever to reach 1 million rating on Google play. In 2013, Instagram have plan to develop application for upcoming black berry 10 which is the one popular operating system from USA.

HOW POPULAR OF INSTAGRAM 1 million registered users! This is number of user in June 2011 and after 1 year in April 2012 Instagram had 10 million users and more than 100 million photograph has been uploaded to its service. More over instagram is popular in Hollywood actor and actress, singer and most famous people in the world they are now has own instagram. TERMS OF USE FOR INSTAGRAM There are basic Terms of Use that Instagram users must follow, including an age requirement of 13 years or older, restrictions against posting nude, partially nude, or sexually suggestive photographs and responsibility for one's account and all activity conducted with it.

In September 2011, Instagram won "Best Locally Made App" in the SF Weekly Web Awards.[54] 7x7Magazine's September 2011 issue featured Systrom and Krieger on the cover of their The Hot 20 2011 issue.[55] In December 2011, Apple Inc. named Instagram "App of the Year" for 2011.[56]

HOW TO USE 1. Download Instagram app from itunes or from App store on iphone, ipod touch, ipad and for Android user can download from google play or from Android market from mobile phone. 2. Launch the Instagram app by tapping its icon from your devices home screen. 3. Click or touch "Sign up" button enter your email, username, password and phone number (optional) and upload a photo for create your account. 4. You can choose to import contacts or nd contact from your Face book, contact list on your mobile and you can also search from instagram user name. After nd your friend click next when you are nish. 5. Click follow button is a next step to follow your friend or someone who you want to follow and you can post something on their page as well. When they post something it will show on your news tab as well. 6. Click star icon(popular tab), which is on bottom of your screen. This function is use for see photo uploaded by other user that are show from instagram community. 7. Using share tab for upload photo from your mobile or you can take photo from instagram camera 8. After you take photo or photo that you upload you can also use lter, which is option that you, can adjust from your photo look more interest. After you apply a lter click NEXT when you are nished. 9. Put a brief description of your photo in what? (Text input). 10. Click Done to complete the process and post your photo. Your photo will appear in your Feed and also the feed of other Instagram users that are following you and you can choose to post on Face book or other social network. 10.Click Done when you complete your post. After that the system will post your photo on your home page, which you can choose to post on face book or other social network. 11.Click the News tab to get updates from Instagram and other users.

There are two main different type of user that use instagram. One is for personal that show how their life and what they want to share with other people in the world which some account have privacy for just user friends only. For another type of user is for online shop which have a lot of type of products around the world. From my research that show the online shop user they choose to follow personal user depend on what they life style and product is match with their shop or not which shop online user can see from picture that personal user upload to their instagram account.
