In an interview with Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal 325 comments 13 minutes ago (http://online.wsj.com/article Obama Exploits Sandy Hook /SB10001424127887323482504578225620234902106.html?mod=rss_opinion_main), to Push Gun Control Agenda newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) opened up (http://www.breitbart.com /Big-Government/2013/01 about President Obamas utter unwillingness to cut a single dollar /06/Obama-Exploits-Sandy-Hook-tofrom federal spending. In a stunning admission, Obama Push-Gun-Control-Agenda) reportedly told Boehner, We dont have a spending problem. 477 comments 0 minutes ago
Boehner added that President Obama continues to maintain that Americas federal deficit is caused not by governmental overspending but by a health-care problem. Said Boehner, They blame all of the fiscal woes on our health-care system. Boehner told Obama, Clearly we have a health-care problem, which is about to get worse with Obamacare. But, Mr. President, we have a very serious spending problem. Obama eventually replied, Im getting tired of hearing you say that. Obama may be tired of hearing Boehner talk about a spending problem, particularly when Obama has been re-elected on the basis of ignoring government spending. Nonetheless, America does have a spending problem, which Obama is steadfastly ignoring. Hes so ideological himself, Boehner explained, and hes unwilling to take on the left of his own party. Thats why Obama refused to raise the retirement age for Medicare after agreeing to it. He admitted in meetings that he couldnt sell things to his own members, said Boehner. But he didnt even want to try We could never get him to step up. Boehner says that there will be no new tax increases over the debt ceiling. The tax issue is resolved, he said. And he said that more closed-door negotiations with Obama would be futile. Its a bit too late to recognize that, but better late than never. Obama need not negotiate on spending. He can just continue to bully Republicans by Dems: No Debt Ceiling Negotiations Without More Tax Hikes (http://www.breitbart.com /Big-Government/2013/01/06/Demsno-negotiations-tax-increases)

Barack Obama is an evil, jealous, lazy girly man. He already proved for four years that he doesn't care about this country or its citizenry. In the end he and his ilk will get exactly what is coming to them. Unfortunately for the rest of America, we will have to suffer because there are not enough people with a spine to stand up to this sock puppet. The man is an absolute disgrace. 50,000,000 Americans cannot afford to put food on their table, but this cretinous jackass goes off to Hawaii, spending millions, without a care in the world. I don't believe for one minute that the majority support this jerk, and you shouldn't either.

Can it be any clearer, folks? There we have it, another sign of this person's heartfelt convictions. We've become worse than bankrupt, but criminally so. And this makes recovery that much more difficult. One can only conclude: this person's plan is total insolvency, so as to gain unlimited power over the populace

We don't have a spending problem? That should tell you everything you need to know about what Obama's real intentions are for America. Why won't the leadership in the GOP simply come out and say what's really going on here....we have a Marxist subversive in the White House and there's no other way to put it. If he doesn't recognize that the spending is going to destroy this nation, then it's time to find a way to destroy his presidency by drawing up articles of impeachment for a myriad of facts that the House of Representatives already has established. Why are people afraid to take this guy on and confront him with his overt and unabashed destruction of this country?

Obama is right, He does NOT have a spending problem, he plays all the Golf he wants, vacations anywhere in the World he wants, (Money is no object) He wines and dines with all the Hollywood/Rock stars, he now has a 35 million dollar mansion on a beach in Hawaii, life long Secret Service protection for him and his family, guaranteed millionaire income the rest of his life after his term is up, untold wealth from the books he will sell to his sycophant worshipers who idolize him and his ideology. And a Federal Reserve and a Treasury that has unlimited ink and paper, and outright disregard and distain for the National Debt and the Deficit. You see? Spending Money for Obama?;...............NO PROBLEM!

Federal revenue will shrink as Obamacare taxes impact hiring and individual after-tax income, exacerbating the debt. Healthcare costs are out of sight as a result of providing free treatment to people. We perform heart transplants on convicted murderers sentenced to life in prison. We transplant organs into people who cannot cover the cost of their treatment, short or long term, some of whom do not even have the emotional/mental capacity to follow through with medications. And seniors expect to suck up billions with little personal investment. I don't expect to get the same level of medical care as Steve Jobs - and we all know that only the richest 500 people in the US can buy the care given to members of Congress - similarly, there is no reason why the couch potato on welfare should receive the same level of treatment as the guy who works 40 hours a week to support his family and pay his taxes.

Obama HAS offered spending cuts, so either Boehner is being untruthful or he just isn't listening. These include cutting over 75 government programs, cuts in medicare and SS (I disagree strongly, since this doesn't affect the deficit at all) and other cuts in mandatory programs, saving 1 trillion over 10 years.

Counting money we were not going to spend anyway hardly amounts to cutting deficits. This is the problem we have in this country...The president and his lackies lie...the "media" refuses to expose the lies...the morons of the Demonicrat party choose to believe the lies and pretend we can spend and spend and spend and the bill will never come due. Unfortunately, it should not be surprising that President Obama, many Democrats, and some Americans don't perceive the existence of a government spending problem. Alcohol abusers do not think they have a drinking problem. Substance abusers do not think they have a drug problem. Sex addicts do not think they have a sex problem. Shopaholics do not think they have a problem with buying things. Hoarders do not think they have a problem with keeping things. Sadly, politics is not immune from the problem of denial and minimization. It is important to not simply give up on trying to confront, expose, and overcome denial and minimization by those exhibiting them. And, it is also very important to persuade politicians and Americans not exhibiting denial and minimization about government spending to stop acting as enablers for the politicians and other Americans who are showing such denial and minimization.

Agreed. The fact that BO had no private sector experience at all is certainly part of his problem. The fact that BO had no executive-level experience at all--private sector and/or public sector--is also part of his problem. But the biggest problem isn't his lack of private sector or executive-level experience, it's the ideological blinders that are permanently sewn into both sides of his head. He's not dumb. He's just driven by all of the far left ideological influences he's had throughout his life. Such folks don't worry about the level of spending; they only worry about how they're gonna come up with the necessary revenue to fund their left-wing, utopian, post-capitalist society.

For once President Fingerman is actually telling the truth. He doesn't have a problem spending money he doesn't have. Ergo, in his mind, he doesn't have a spending problem. As to that finger, if enough people would laugh in his face about that, he would stop it soon enough. Remember Alinsky's rules about ridicule. Obama particularly hates being laughed at.

Actually, our spending is sixt (60) per cent of every American taxpayer's dollar. The rest is being financed through borrowing, which is driving up the debt. It also places in the hands of our creditors a potential veto of our policy choices. Talk about taxation without representation.

I would be willing to bet that he lived well beyond his means before he was elected president, too. I have heard rumors on several websites (I can't cite them right now), that he and Michelle STILL have financial problems, that she spends money right and left (obviously). If and when Obama leaves office, we should demand that all candidates release their credit scores too.
