Title: 3 Idiots Setting: Imperial College of Engineering, India Characters: Ranchoddas "Rancho" Shamaldas Chanchad / Phunsukh Wangdu -an engineering student who only wants is to study even without having a degree. Farhan Qureshi -an engineering student but interested in photography Raju Rastogi -an engineering student who experiencing difficulties in life, God-fearing person as he always worships God everyday in his room Pia Sahastrebuddhe -daughter of Mr. ViruS , has a love affair with Rancho/Phunsukh Viru Sahastrebuddhe (ViruS) -terror professor of Imperial College of Engineering Chatur Ramalingam (Silencer) -a intelligent student of Mr. ViruS Mona Sahastrebuddhe -sister of Pia, the reason why rancho graduated from college Jay Lobo -commit suicide because of Mr. ViruS Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad -the real ranchoddas Millimeter -the one who assisted the new comers of the school

Mr. & Mrs. Qureshi -parents of Farhan Mrs. Rastogi -mother of Raju Suhas -former boyfriend of Pia IV. Summary: This story is a flashback, it started when Raju and Farhan finding Rancho that they had no contact for almost 10 years. The flashback started at Imperial College of Engineering where all the things in their lives happened. The tradition for freshmen in school is to put their pants down for respect for senior Raju and Farhan follow but Rancho dont instead he go to the room and connect meter stick and spoon and connect to an electric current because one senior student says that if he dont come out he will pee at the door. Rancho helps Joy Lobe about the project that has been rejected by Mr. ViruS. Joy Lobo cant handle all the things happened in his life and commit suicide. The 3 Idiots went to a wedding that they didnt know that wedding of daughter of ViruS , there they meet Pia another daughter of Mr. ViruS. Silencer is a student always on top . He wants to impress professors about his speech but the 3 Idiots make a plan. Silencer didnt recognize that what he memorize is different from the original one , this speech is make ViruS embarrassed in front of other people. Silencer and 3 Idiots have a deal that on September 5 , 10 years from now they will meet again and see who is more successful. They get examination the following day. They get late in class but make funny actions toget their paper accepted. Farhan and Raju get the lowest rank while Rancho tops the examination.

Back at the present day they, they already reach the destination on where Rancho Chanchad can befound. When they meet the Rancho Chanchad, they are amazed that the man is not the person they are searching for so long. They find out that Rancho Chanchad in ICE is not the real Rancho. They have to search for Rancho. Back at Flashback Rancho admits his feelings for Pia. The three go to Viruss house. Farhan and Raju peeon Viruss mailbox. Virus calls the security to search for them at the college but they hid on a classroom.Virus wants to rusticate Raju from ICE but given a choice whether whose name is to be put: him or Ranchos. Because he cant decide, He jumps out of the window from the third floor. He is rushed in the hospital. He is given proper medical management; however, Raju doesnot speak nor move. He just opens his eyes. He then recovers after many days.Farhan goes to his home to tell his parents that he does not want to become an engineer but a photographer. At first, his father does not accept it but later on, he tells Farhan that he may pursue being a

photographer. On the other hand, Raju has his first interview and luckily, he Is accepted.

Again, on the present time, Pia is to wed Suhas. Raju and Farhan go quickly to help Pia escape from the wedding. Raju pretends to be Suhas and they get away.

Rancho makes certain action because Viruss plan is to ruin the application of Raju.Rancho goes to his office and manipulated the application form of Raju. They get caught at the room in dormitory and is asked to get out of the college.Heavy flood came in as they leave the place. While on their way, Mona, Pias sister, is found to be having labor. Because there is no available ambulance because of typhoon, Rancho helps her on brings her at the college to help in delivering the baby. The baby needs a vacuum cup so Pia instructed him about delivery and the use of cup. Rancho and friends successfully assist in delivering the baby. But the baby does not respond to stimuli. Everyone expects that the baby is dead. However, when Rancho pronounces All is well, the baby kicks. He is alive.As a sign of being an extraordinary student, Virus gives the pen to Rancho. He is awarded as the student of the year during the graduation.

At present time, they finally find Rancho in an institution that teaches students about utilization of advancing technology. Rancho is not Rancho Chanchad; he is Pungsukh Wangdu, a scientist with 400 patents, Silencers boss.

Moral: If you want there is a always a way Do the things that you are interested Dont easily lose hope Always think of every word that you will say Learning is very possible whatever rule you apply Dont give up If you are well educated , the success will find you If there is a problem never get down just tap your heart and say ALL IS WELL
