Being a daughter and being a friend have their own set of behaviours.

For example, my behaviour towards my parents differs from my behaviour towards friends. When I was child, there was a time when my mother scolded me because of the way I talk to her. It was like I was just talking to a close friend of mine. Because of that, I learned that not all behaviours are suitable in all situations. There are rules or limitations to our every action. Our behaviour depends on the kind of setting we encounter. Sometimes, others misunderstand us because of the way we act and when misjudged may lead to social isolation. Now, to avoid social isolation, there should be an adaptation to our roles and self-concept. Like the teenagers in the video we have just watched. Most of them were still in the stage of adjusting from their childhood years to teenage years. They were still adapting new set of social roles. While observing them, we can see that they had change with regards to the way they dress themselves and the way they act. They have their own way to represent themselves and also, they have already their own group and they experience new things. All of these things happen, because, they were afraid to be excluded or isolated in the society. Adaptation and adjustment is not that easy for those who are at puberty stage. It is not also easy for those who are undergoing changes with regards to their status in life. This new experiences will form attitude. Attitude is our belief, feeling, and action towards an object. It can be a positive or negative attitude, but still, it depends to what social group we belong. There is a scene in the video that the teenagers were asked about their belief toward sex. Many words related to sex popped into the teenagers mind except for one, which is love. From that given situation, we can say that teenagers belief about sex have a great difference from the real meaning of sex. We can also say that their beliefs depend on the culture they have. Another is their feeling about an object, teenagers undergo puberty stage and at this point they develop in some aspect physically and mentally. During this point, teenagers undergo body changes and they mature as well. Their action towards an object is still a part of their attitude. From which, they cannot act or do same things when they were in their childhood years. Most especially for the girls, they are some things which they cannot do when they have their menstrual period, unlike when they were still little. Attitude can also lead to stereotyping. Stereotype is a belief about an individual or social group. It can be positive but mostly it is negative and it may lead to discrimination in the society. This usually happens to those persons who have traits or physical features that are not acceptable in the society. For example, fat people are often believed or labelled as lazy and often discriminated in the society. When I was in high school, I have a classmate whos very fat, and most of the time, my other classmates tease him and exclude them in their group no matter how hard he try to please them. From the given situation, we can conclude that my classmate is discriminated in our class because of his physical trait, and that is, he is fat. He is discriminated because of the belief about fat people.

A trait is a set of individual characteristics. Every one of use has our own trait. It can be inherited to our parents and can be influenced by our own experiences as well. The traits that we can inherit to our parents are those physical traits. The traits that can be influenced by our own experiences are our behaviour and thoughts. In another video that we have watched, Herbie, has an illness. That illness may be the effect of his behaviour when he was not that old. We can also take into account that his illness, which he has been suffering to, was inherited from his parents. From that situation, we can say that our traits can also affect our health and sometimes it can lead to certain diseases.
