COURSE OUTLIN E / DESCRIPTI ON

This course prepare the healthcare professional (MDs, PTs ,OTs and PTAs)with valuable information and manual skills to meet the fastest growing patient population in need for such skills in health care system today and the unlimited demand for the Mayfascial release ? The instructor will provide you with ample supervised "hands-on" time which will enable you to practice locating, evaluating, and normalizing primary areas of dysfunction. COURSE OBJECTIVES

Integrate current evidenced-based information into a comprehensive understanding of the osteopathic /Holistic approach of Manual therapy. Identifies the basic understanding and global meaning of Fascia. Integrate anatomical interrelationship of Fascia and Myofascial system. Define Fascia and Myofascial Problem and develop Observational skilled examination. Define Fascia and Myofascial Problem and develop basic palpation skilled examination. Prescribe proper Myofascial dysfunction lesion presentations. Interpret examination findings to establish an accurate treatment classification category, develop palpation and observation skills to identify movement dysfunction globally. Perform selected intervention for the Upper, Lower and trunk region based on the examination and current evidence. (Basic Myofascial releases Techniques) Develop a global way of thinking in Diagnosis and treatment of the myofascial dysfunctions via the global view and understand of the anatomical interrelation of the Global fascia framework of the body.
