Karnataka State Rural Livelihood Mission- Sanjeevini

The National Rural Livelihoods Mission was conceptualized with the primary objective of putting in place a dedicated and sensitive support structure from the national level to the sub-district level which will focus on the poor, build and sustain their organizations at different levels. Primarily, the teams (staff) at all levels will mobilize the rural poor to form self help groups, build their capacities by providing trainings, facilitate bank linkages and access to credit, in order to enhance livelihood opportunities of the poor. Further, the mission aims to bring forth convergence between various Government departments and their schemes to ensure service delivery to the rural poor. NRLM will be implemented in the first phase in 5 districts namely Belgaum, Dharwad, Gulbarga, Tumkur and Mysore. As State Programme Managers, you would have the opportunity to formulate strategies under the thematic area and to roll these out across the state. You would lead a team of committed development professionals in building organizations of the poor and enhancing their livelihood avenues. As Assistant Managers and District Managers you would have the opportunity to have hands on experience at the grass roots with the community driving the mission.

Assistant Manager - Monitoring & Evaluation cum MIS

Will function in a specialist capacity. Initially they will facilitate coordination and liaison between various levels. Assistant Manager will further ensure task accomplishment against the plan at district and block unit of the project. Their hands on experience of the field will help SMMU in policy design, system improvement and upgrading implementation guidelines of the project. Besides these, AMs will be extending handholding support to district and block unit on linkages with financial institutions, convergence with Government programmes, capacity building of community institutions, planning and disbursement of CIF and team building. AMs are supposed to perform specific role of trainer to Block and District team and act as an active link between BMMU and SMMU. They should also establish financial linkage between financial institutions and VO/SHGs. Will support SPM - skills and placement.
