Hang on folks, because Winchester is introducing the worlds fastest, most innovative rimfire caliber. The new 17 Win Super Mag (a 27 caliber shellcase necked down to a 17 caliber bullet) surpasses the downrange velocity, energy, trajectory and wind bucking characteristics of both the 17 HMR and 22 WMR. Loaded in the popular Winchester High Energy (HE) and High Velocity (HV) and Super-X brands, the new caliber will accommodate 20- and 25-grain polymer tipped bullets, plus a 20-grain JHP.
