IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. The candidate should bring the ADMISSION CARD to secure admission in the Test Centre otherwise he/she will not be allowed to enter the Test Centre. 2. The candidate must carry any additional identity proof in the Test Centre. 3. The candidate admission to the Recruitment Test is provisional subject to fulfillment of all the conditions of eligibility. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate is not eligible, his /her candidature will be cancelled without any notice. 4. Use of any electronic device such as Mobile, Blue tooth and Pen Scanner, etc is strictly prohibited in the Test Centre. The candidate is also adviced not to carry any bag, purse, mobile etc as there is no arrangement for keeping such material. 5. The candidate should reach the Test Centre at least 30 minutes before the start of the Test. No candidate will be admitted to the Test Centre after half an hour of the start of the Test. 6. Any change in the postal address should be immediately communicated to the Director, NITTTR, Sector 26, Chandigarh. 7. The candidate is also adviced to read the instructions on the answer sheet as well as on the question paper and follow the same strictly. 8. No candidate will write his / her name or roll number on the answer sheet at a place other than provided for the purpose. 9. The candidate is directed to use only BLACK / BLUE ball point pen. 10. Any marks including any religious marks on the answer sheet, whereby, an answer sheet can be identified to a particular candidate is prohibited. 11. Candidates shall not talk to each other during the course of the Test. 12. No candidate will be permitted to leave the Test Centre before the completion of the Test time. 13. The candidate should sign and put the thumb impression on the ADMISSION CARD in the presence of the Invigilator. 14. The candidate is required to hand over the ADMISSION CARD, answer sheet and question booklet to the invigilator concerned before leaving the Test Centre. 15. Before starting answering the questions, the candidate should make sure that no page or question is missing from the question booklet. If any defect is found in the question booklet/ answer sheet, the same should be got replaced from the invigilator within 10 minutes of the start of the Test. 16. The candidate shall not remove any page(s) from the question booklet. 17. For rough work, the sheet marked "Rough Work" at the end of the question booklet be used. 18. If a candidate is found indulging in any unfair means, arguments or misbehaviour in the Test Centre will be expelled from the Test Centre and will finally lead to disqualification for the post for which he/she has applied. 19. The candidate should affix self attested recent (not more than three months old) coloured passport size photograph on the ADMISSION CARD. 20. For any dispute in the Test Centre, the decision of the test conducting authority (NITTTR, Chandigarh) will be final. 21. The Duration of the Test is 02 Hours. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Four Choices a, b, c, d with one right choice) and maximum marks for the test is 100. 22. Each right answer will get 1 mark. There is negative marking of 25% i.e. 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer. 23. Candidates may make themselves familiar with OMR answer sheet available on website www.nitttrchd.ac.in 24. No TA/DA will be given to candidates for appearing in the recruitment test. 25. Mere appearance in the recruitment test will not entitle a candidate for final selection.
