    “Coming together is beginning, Thinking together is progress…” With this theme at soul, Central India’s Child Hospital & Research Institute, Nagpur is incessantly working to provide quality neonatal & pediatric services. Child hospital is a first of its kind hospital in central India with all pediatric sub specialties under one roof & since its establishment in year 2008 justifies the slogan ‘Every Child is special for us’. It is our proud privilege to inform you regarding unique scientific event – “Pediatrics 2013 – Books to bedside”, being organized at Nagpur, from 8th to 10th March 2013. There will be workshop & conference arranged in an interactive fashion to suit the needs of all the participants. This program is possible due to initiative taken by Physicians for Peace, USA. ‘Physicians for Peace’ was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to the idea that the health care in the developing world can best be improved by providing training and education to health care professionals in those countries. This prestigious academic feast is conceptualized by eminent Pediatrician Dr. Satish Deopujari. His team is known for some of the best national & international events in pediatrics, neonatology & critical care at Nagpur including first national conference on Pediatric Critical Care 1999, ABG 2003, NEOVENT, SEPSIS 2010 and many workshops on mechanical ventilation, blood gas & alike.

Dear friends, day we entered our medical school, we have been reading Nelsons Text book of pediatrics, Zimmerman Text book of pediatric critical care, Goldsmith & Karotkin Text book of Assisted Ventilation of the Neonate', Book on Respiratory care by Dr. Robert diBlassi. These text books have been our Bible in the field of pediatrics. Lets hear from eminent authors of these world famous text books like Prof. Bonita Stanton, Prof. Zimmerman, Prof. Edward Karotkin, Dr. Christopher Foley, Dr. Robert diBlassi & many more eminent national & international faculties how to translate evidence based knowledge of these text books to bedside practice. Let us all gather coming March 2013 at Child Hospital, Nagpur for this important event Books to Bedside & hear from stalwarts.
