Malcolm Calls himself the angriest black man alive, in many instances throughout the book he seems cool and collected cool as a cucumber Discuss the differences faces or sides to his temperament explored in the book.

I have chosen the first topic to speak about because while reading the book we can clearly observe the development and change of the Malcolms personality and life. This man was a real Hero who tried to fight against what he hated and he thought was bad for the entire humanity of black people. We may say that his views, facts were too cruel, but he fought for them with his heart, he never quit . The basis of the formation of the personality of a person are: the family, the environment, social and cultural values etc. For Malcolm, all these I think had a great importance, from the very begging of his life the violence was always present in their family. His mother suffered a lot because his father used to use violence against her, after that his father was murdered in his heart was planted only fear and anger. After all this, his family was split, his mother later suffered a nervous breakdown, all this made his life a nightmare, his only wish was to revenge. The sad background of his life made Malcolm to have a pessimistic view about the equality between races, in his heart lived only the wish to revenge, he thought Whites didnt have any moral conscience towards Black People. As he believed Whites didnt use violence because they wanted to keep Blacks at their places, but he wanted to change all this. The delivered great speeches full with great importance and hope for most of the Africans, also he tried to encourage his listeners to rise up and protest against their Whites enemies. All these happened because of the rigorous background his life, he didnt have an adequate education, he used to take cocaine, and to have many problems with the authorities. Malcolm X had been misled all through his life. This can be shown especially at the time when he broke away from the black Muslim party, because he realized that they were misleading him by telling him that separatism between blacks and whites is the only way to go. Malcolm X corrected himself after his break with the black Muslim movement. He now emphasized unity and change through black pride and respect for oneself rather than through hate and revenge. Malcolm X will be always remembered as a leader that fought for Freedom, that believed in it, he tried to bring hope in the hearts of all the back people of USA.
