Proposal full title: Urban individual transport mean Proposal acronym: U.I.T.M.

Type of funding scheme: Large-scale integrating project Name of the coordinating person: Barna Teodor List of participants: Barna Teodor ,Tudor Octav , Glavan Alexandru Table of Contents

Proposal 1: Scientific and/or technical quality, relevant to the topics addressed by the call 1.1 Concept and objectives The main objective of this project is to develop a ECO friendly mean of transport which can be flexible in todays overcrowded urban centers. The car will be driven by two independent electrical motors one on each side of the two wheels. The maximum speed to be achieved by this mini car is meant to be 50 km/h . The stability of the car is given by a sphere which is a new tehnology recently developed.

1.2 Progress beyond the state-of-the-art The project will reduce the pollution percentage of major cities by 3% due to its use of electrical engines also it will prevent the making of traffic congestions that also helps to reduce pollution , by researching the sphere technology the tri-wheel vehicle revolutionizes parking by making it more easy , also turning is made by the lean of the driver to left or right with the whole car chassis. 1.3 S/T methodology and associated work plan i) The work plan is divided in four phases named A , B ,C ,D . Phase A lasts 9 months and its named Consultation Phase in which an intention is set and talks with the supplier are made regarding quality technical feasibility risk analysis. Phase B lasts 8 months and is knows as Convergence and conception all parts from phase A are put together to form individual pieces. Phase C is known as Product/Process Validations all parts are put together to form the prototype and test it. Phase D also known as Industrialization is the part where the car is produced on a large scale.

Objectives : the objective of this work package is to determine which parts are needed to build the vehicle and which is the best supplier regarding costs and quality of materials. Description of work : Component leader activities: early phase of work for specifying the mechanical parts; convergence phase with the supplier on technical specifications choosing the supplier Part leader activities : he must ensure he has all the necessary information regardin the part he is in charge the specifications are sent correctly to the supplier

Work package 2 Start Date or starting JAN-10 number event Work package tittle Convergence and conception Activity type Parts are assembled thus components appear MGT Participant no. Person-mont / parti Objectives: the objective of this work package is to converge all the parts into required components so in the next step we are able to assemble a prototype vehicle Description of work: The part leader talks to the electronic and the mechanical pilot so he is delivered the right parts for the component assembly after the assembly is done each component is tested independently and sent to the next step where the prototype is build. 2) Implementation 2.1 Management structures and procedures Before advancing to the next step all the previous steps are retested to ensure the well being of the project. 2.2 Individual participants The electronic pilot is in charge of electronic parts , the mechanical pilot is in charge of mechanical parts , the component leader is in charge of gathering the electronic and mechanical parts and assemble a component , also there is a team of specialists that ensure the solving of more complex problems like car architecture CAN communications wiring etc. 2.3 Consortium i)Subcontracting No subcontracting to be done ii)Other country No countries outside the EU area are involved iii)Additional partner The possibility of finding on the process path of the development additional partners is highly likely to occur 2.4 Resources to be commited Resources will be taken from different suppliers.Suppliers are chosen on a simple idea,a supplier is chosen when his quality/cost report is the best for the product after all offers were checked.
