International Cooperation: I handle the International Cooperation (IC) division of Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the supervision of Secretary, BEE where tasks include: 1. Structuring/drafting Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bilateral and multilateral cooperations in the field of energy efficiency. 2. Closely follow up/coordinate with overseas clients/diplomats regarding ongoing activities within existing bilateral cooperations.

Inspection and Verification Mechanism: Member of the team responsible for the design of Inspection and verification mechanism for the Standards and Labeling (S&L) scheme. I was a part of the think tank responsible to critically examine and present the need for an enforcement mechanism for schemes such as S&L and Perform Achieve and Trade (PAT).

Organized the 1st Meeting of Experts group on technology and knowledge sharing under the aegis of SAARC at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. This meeting was scheduled to outline a roadmap for future cooperation between India and the neighboring SAARC nations in the field of energy efficiency. OTHER INFORMATION: Interested fields of work include Energy efficiency, Climate change, Renewable (Solar, wind, Geothermal), Green Buildings, Carbon footprint and carbon finance.
