Ardrey Kell JROTC Knights' Court School Beautification Project

The Ardrey Kell MCJROTC is still taking orders for brick purchases for our Knights Court walkway, located in the front of our school. Bricks cost $50 and include three lines of engraving. A perfect way to leave a legacy for your student, past or present, or simply as a family brick! Makes a great senior gift! Order forms are available on the JROTC school wiki page, or for further information, please contact Lynn Burnett at lynn.burnett@allentate.com.

Ardrey Kell is partnering with Hands On Charlotte to bring service learning projects to the school. They will be here once a month giving students the opportunity to earn 2 community service hours per month. The date for January is January 29th from 2:30-3:30 in the cafeteria. We will be working with Promising Pages wrapping children's books and making bookmarks for schools whose children do not have as much access to books. If students are interested in participating, they may sign up in student services through Tuesday the 22nd. If there are any questions you may contact Christy Matkovich. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat for Humanity has paired with CMS to raise money and build 5 Habitat homes in Charlotte this year. Senior Build-Up is a CMS-wide service project for seniors to give back to their community. Our school's goal is $15,000. If you would like to donate or receive more information, please go to the Ardrey Kell website and click Donate to Senior Build Up. You can also contact Anna Cameron or Jennifer Schroeder via email, found on the Faculty/Staff page. Though it is a senior-sponsored project, students of all grades are encouraged to donate and participate. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
