Exciting FREE Maths Resource for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 www.oxfordowl.co.uk/maths/ Oxford Owl is a free website built to help support you and your child with maths ideas. You'll find age-specific maths advice, tips and lots of fun ideas, games and e-books to help you enjoy maths with your child. Why not give it a try and let us know what you liked? Phonics for Parents After the February half term, we have an exciting opportunity for parents to learn about how we teach phonics in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Each Tuesday afternoon, parents will be invited to attend a workshop with Lynn Robson to learn about Phonics and prepare an activity which then can then play with their child at home. This is a fantastic opportunity to help improve your childs reading skills and to give you confidence that you are teaching the sounds correctly. Please see Miss Tulloch or Mrs Cuddy if you would like to attend by Friday 1st February 2013 Please note parents are required to attend all sessions (6 in total).
