6 Reason Why We Agree With Polygamy

1. Qur'an permits limited polygamy. Before the Qur'an was revealed, there
was no upper limit for polygamy and many men had scores of wives, some
even hundreds. Islam put an upper limit of four wives. Allah said:

'Marry woman of your choice in twos' threes' or fours' but if ye fear that

But, Islam gives a man permission to marry two, three or four
women, only on the condition that he deals with them justly. In the same
chapter Allah said:

Therefore polygamy is not a rule but an exception. Many people
are under the misconception that it is compulsory for a Muslim man to
marry more than one wife.

in islma is to helps widows and orphan, we can find this idea ini the holy

If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry
women of your choice, Two or three or four;(4:3)
A man who married a poor widow can help her children better than not
married her.
3. To help woman who cannor pregnant or having baby. If the wife does not
want to be divorced by her husband. Because the wife can not be pregnant
or having baby. Whereas the husband really wants have the baby from
himself and the husband does not want to adopt any child. With polygamy
they can still be together without divorce.
4. World female population is more than male population. polygamy
helps to reduce the number of unmarried women in a society. In other
words, it brings hope to the single women among us to marry even she
became older.
5. Polygamy helps men with leadership ability. for a man to control a
home of three or four wives with different backgrounds and behavior, for
example, is a great leadership responsibility. And if a man can successfully
manage this, then hes most likely to manage great institutions or people.
If one can understand and deal with women easily and successfully, then
he has great management and leadership skills.
