Site Controller - Attapulgus Title: Site Controller - Attapulgus Location: United States-Georgia-Attapulgus Job Number:_1203059 * Serve as a key member

of the Site leadership team; provide strategic financial counsel and support to the Site Manager. . Serve as a change agent within the Site proactively identifying and implementi ng opportunities for key process efficiencies to improve overall business/financ ial operations. * Lead in the management and development of the accounting staff to maximize pro ductivity / efficiency and to insure clarity in accountabilities and expectation s among personnel. * Champion new ideas and foster a team environment * Interpret, direct and ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and procedures. Ensure that adequate internal controls are maintained so that inven tories, M&E and other company assets are protected during all phases of plant op erations. * Responsible of all general and cost accounting which includes systems and proc edures to insure the accurate and timely financial reporting of site performance . * Directs the preparation of the site's Operating Plan/Forecast and assures accu racy and reasonableness of all forward looking data used for business group proj ections. Ensure that the annual rate development process supports the annual spe nding plan. * Provides support to site management to ensure the availability of data for ana lysis and reporting * Through coaching and multiple forms of communication, ensure that site personn el possess sufficient financial knowledge to understand the P/L implications of activities occurring in their area of responsibility.
