Dear Customers,
Company history
1890: Company founded by Andreas Maier as a lock manufacturer. 1920: Production program extended to include spanners. 1928: Production-line assembly of Fellbach locks. 1951: With the introduction of clamping elements, AMF diversified into the fields of workpiece and tool clamping. 1965: Toggle clamps extend the AMF product range. AMF catalogues are now published in ten languages. 1975: Hydraulic clamping marks further specialisation. 1982: Clamping and fixture systems. 1996: Introduction of the AMF Team Organisation in all business sectors. Quality assurance certified to ISO 9001. 2001: Introduction of the AMF Service Guarantee. 2004: Introduction of ZPS zero-point system expands AMFs clamping expertise. 2005: Introduction of positioning system for laser marking. 2007: AMF adds the TTEC clamping and fixture system for laser welding to its range of products.
Since 1890, the name AMF has stood for reliability and the highest quality. Today our product range comprises more than 5000 articles in the sectors clamping, hand tools, and locks. That makes us a leading European manufacturer. Outstanding products are only one side of the coin. For us, it is just as important to provide our customers with perfect service, day in and day out. Application:
With a small footprint for installation in base plates, machine tables, clamping profiles, columns and towers, swivel bridges, machine pallets and clamping pallets. Also suitable for use as "cylinder locks" with high repeatability.
Note:
Installation clamping module with a low installation height of 19.8 mm and an installation diameter of 45 mm (M45 x 1). Hydraulic pressure is only needed for unclamping (min. 40 bar / max. 50 bar). The installation clamping module is mechanically locked in the clamped position. The advantages of this are that there are no cumbersome lines and no danger of leakage. The contact surface is the upper surface of the housing.

Application:
With a small footprint for installation in base plates, machine tables, clamping profiles, columns and towers, swivel bridges, machine pallets and clamping pallets. Also suitable for use as "cylinder locks" with high repeatability. Pneumatic modules are optimally suited for use in the foodstuffs, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as in oil-free applications.
Note:
Installation clamping module with a low installation height of 19.8 mm and an installation diameter of 45 mm (M45 x 1). Pneumatic pressure is only needed for unclamping (min. 6 bar / max. 12 bar). The installation clamping module is mechanically locked in the clamped position. The advantages of this are that there are no cumbersome lines and no danger of leakage. The contact surface is the upper surface of the housing. The pneumatic design has 2 connections: 1 x clamping / unclamping, 1 x turbo connection.
The turbo connection is pressurised only briefly with 6 bar after the clamping process, thus achieving the specified pull-in forces.

Horizontal rapid-clamping cylinder Our new horizontal rapid-clamping cylinder makes palletization...
...very swift and simple by hooking into a hole at the top and moving downwards. No searching for the holes No damage to zero point bore or nipple No risk of injury
Unlocking and removal is even quicker and easier, because no pre-tensioning with the crane is required. Our horizontal rapid clamping cylinder functions without hydraulic or pneumatic pre-tensioning and is based, like almost all our products, on our buildingblock principle. Rapid palletization significantly reduces your palletization times and therefore cuts costs. Benefits: with and without blow out completely rust-free can be installed in all positions without assembly tools suspension piston also acts as dirt traps when not in use, the suspension piston is extended and can be locked. This relieves the plate springs. Can also be installed in: Clamping tower Clamping profile Automated handling devices General machine building applications
Figure on left: Whether by hand, crane, handling device or robot, the combination of horizontal rapid clamping cylinder and nipple offers you optimum protection and comfort.
Figure on right: Once the pallet has been hooked into the horizontal nipple, it is easy to push in and out by hand. We can provide automated motion on request. Fully automated: - With the media bushing through the table Semi-automatic: - With lever Specifications subject to change.

With AMF you are always a step ahead! AMF CAD data are transmitted to sub-assemblies with active links. This feature can be exploited by the CAD systems Solid Works, Unigraphic, Inventor and Catia V5.
Further advantages: Complete transmission of the structure tree, including all accessories, with all CAD systems! When parts lists are generated, the article designations from the structure tree are automatically incorporated. Ordering procedures can thus be initiated directly. In addition, sample functions are transmitted which a) increase computer speed and b) simplify the job of the tool designer. When they are not needed, the sample functions can be suppressed
