BEREAVEMENT RECEPTIONS
The St. Edward reception team needs additional volunteers to assist with the set up, serving and/or clean up for our bereavement receptions. These receptions give families an opportunity to relax and visit with friends and family following the service. Receptions usually requires about three hours of your time and if you arent available for a particular funeral you can just tell us and you will be called the next time we have a reception. If you dont think receptions are something you can do maybe donating cookies for the reception would be more to your liking, we do need more people willing to donate 2 dozen cookies, they can be purchased or homemade and brought to the hall the morning of the funeral. If you are able to do either or both please contact Saundra in the parish office at 496-1307.

St. Vincent is the patron of the Society. Jesus was the driving force in his life. He calls Jesus the center of his life and activity. Vincent had a distinctive image of Jesus, as Evangelizer and Servant of the poor, and his life revolved around this relationship with Jesus. For followers of St.Vincent de Paul, spirituality involves a growing relationship with Jesus.
