No 24 JESUS IS LORD Is 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon

His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Behold a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to Me in heaven and earth. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And why call you Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon. Jesus said, to them, Verily, verily I say to you, before Abraham was I am. You call Me Master and Lord: and you say well; for so I am. Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. The Word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ; He is Lord of all. That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved..For whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him. ..and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Know what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. He has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His Body, the fulness of Him that fills all in all. Wherefore God has also highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name: that at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in the earth and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus, who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature. For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. He is the Head of the Body, the church. He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; that in all things He might have the pre-eminence Jesus Christ who in His times shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Heb 1:3

Jesus who being in the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus. I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen, and I have the keys of hell and death. The seventh angel sounded. There were great voices in heaven, saying, The Kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ. He shall reign forever and ever. After these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia, Salvation and glory and honour, and power unto the Lord our God. I heard as it were a voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
