Dear friend, Few months ago I received the invitation to go on a ministry trip to Myanmar and Sri Lanka through a friend of mine. Ive known Chris for several years and have travelled with him to Sri Lanka and Europe in the past. Chris had been to Myanmar already twice and he felt my coming would make a dierence. When I asked him why, his response was straightforward: George, the leaders there need " what you have! Come and impart what God has given you in terms of Kingdom vision, thrust and revelation! I prayed about this and sensed that the Lord did arm this. So here I am, getting ready to board a plane a take 10 ights in 2 weeks - Sri Lanka, Myanmar and a third Asian nation yet to be conrmed. Would you join me in prayer for this trip Feb. 5-19? Would you consider helping nancially?

Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka we will go into the heart of the island nation, the region of Kandi. We land in the capital Colombo and we then have about 3 hour drive into the very heart of the jungle (See map and picture below to the left.) There, we will meet with Sureshni Perrera, the wife of the late Jacob Perrera who was our host in 2005. Pastor Jacob went to be with the Lord in 2010 after a long battle with kidney failure. We look forward to ministering to sister Sureshni, the church she took over from her husband and the children at the orphanage there.

National Leadership Conference We will minister at a National Leadership Conference where pastors and leaders will come from dierent parts of the country. We will impart to them teaching on the Kingdom, on national transformation and leadership priniciples. Myanmar has just come out of 20+ years of dictatorship and if theres one thing they need more than anything, its leadership training. Seminary We will be part of the graduation of a class in the semianry in Yangong. What a blessing to minister prophetically to these young people who will serve God with passion in Myanmar! Orphanage We will also visit the orphanage, which is part of the same ministry of our host church and will hang out with the kids, love on them and pray for them! Thank you for taking this to heart and getting behind me and our family as I take on this mission. Please pray for: - Unity of heart in the team thats going. - Health and protection from disease.
