ISEAN-Hivos HIV/AIDS (MARPS) Round 10 EoI Number 33: ISEAN-Hivos -GF-R10-HIV/AIDS Issuance Date: January 31, 2013 ISEAN-Hivos-GF-R10-HIV/AIDS-Philippines CONSULTANT to serve as DOCUMENTER FOR A TRAINING ON NETWORKING AND ADVOCACY Strengthening community systems to reduce vulnerability to and impact of HIV infection on MSM and TG in Insular Southeast Asia REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST In 2010, the Insular Southeast Asian Network on MSM, TG, and HIV (ISEAN) and the Humanist Institute for Cooperation with Developing Countries (Hivos) jointly submitted a regional proposal to the Global Fund for AIDS, Malaria, and Tuberculosis (GFATM) Round 10. The programme, entitled Strengthening Community Systems to Reduce Vulnerability to and Impact of HIV infection on MSM and TG in Insular Southeast Asia, was approved by GFATM and contract for the grant was signed on 6 October, 2011. This grant has the main goal of reducing (a) the vulnerability and risks of MSM and TG to HIV infection and (b) the impact of HIV on their lives in Insular Southeast Asia. It intends to address critical gaps in supporting and scaling up activities that reduce HIV and AIDS among MSM and TGs. The Philippine NGO Council on Population Health and Welfare, Inc. (PNGOC), as the Sub-Recipient (SR) of the grant, and TLF SHARE Collective, Inc. as the Sub-Sub-Recipient (SSR), is looking for a capable Documenter for a training on Networking and Advocacy. This training will be conducted on February 19 to 22, 2013 in Metro Manila. Specifically, the following services that address the Grants requirements are expected to be provided by the Documenter: 1. 2. Summarize highlights of each training session Prepare and finalize the proceedings/documentation (with executive summary) of the training, and consolidate relevant documents (i.e. presentations, work plans, IEC materials, etc.) in the proper format as required by the Program

Key Qualifications: 1. 2. 3. 4. Previous experience in documenting trainings, workshops and similar types of activties With excellent writing skills and good communication skills At least a college graduate, with a degree on communications, journalism, and other related fields Preferably based in Metro Manila

Submission Procedure: Interested applicants should submit an expression of interest (EoI) letter together with the applicants CV/resume via email to tlfmanila@gmail.com or ira.briones@gmail.com on or before February 11, 2013, addressed to Ms. Mariluz Tejares, Program Manager of the ISEAN-Hivos Program. Technical review of documents will be done and the most qualified applicant will be contracted by TLF SHARE.
