MAC Capital Limited (MAC) is the Dubai-based member of the MAC Group, with its head- quarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre ("DIFC"). The MAC Group was founded in early 2006 by its Chairman, Robert W. HISTORY OF THE MAC GROUP


2006 11 Jan McMillen Advantage Capital Limited (MAC) formed in Hong Kong, with shareholders including Robert W. McMillen, Quam Limited, Killik & Co, Banque Morval, Finansia Syrus Securities and several high net worth international business persons. MAC signed a Joint Venture Agreement with the Sharaf Group to form a brokerage operation in the U.A.E. Major General Mohammed Al Ali also becme a joint venture partner. MAC Sharaf incorporated in the U.A.E. MAC Capital Advisors Limited (MACCA) formed in St. Lucia. MACCA approved to advise listings on the NASDAQ Dubai. MACCA completes its first cross order M&A transaction with the USD 62.85 million acquisition of shares in a listed company in Thailand by major Dubai and Kuwaiti corporates. MAC Sharaf granted licence to trade shares by ESCA. MAC Sharaf granted membership to the DFM MAC Sharaf conducted first trade on the DFM MACCA commences corporate Research on companies in the U.A.E. MAC Sharaf granted membership on the ADX.
