PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION - SELECTION CRITERIA NEW VIEW PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR ESSENTIAL CRITERIA SKILLS Excellent communication skills (spoken and written). Evidence of supporting vulnerable people taking an "asset based" approach. Demonstrate skills to work as part of a cross-organisation partnership team and bring different types of people together to achieve a common goal. Personal development/ support planning skills. Listening skills Evidence of prioritising own workload, including agreeing and meeting targets/priorities. Able to use common IT packages, eg word, outlook. Evidence of designing and delivering training packages.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA EXPERIENCE Managing a small budget. Planning and organising work to meet targets Supporting people with mental health problems. Working with groups and partner organisations Managing projects and people on a day to day basis, either as a volunteer or a paid worker Working in an asset based way, focusing on the good things people can do Delivering training An understanding of issues around BME communities, vulnerable people and other excluded groups An understanding of group dynamics African and African Caribbean cultureand faith-awareness. Ability to be innovative and find creative ways of working Ability to build people's confidence A passion for encouraging participation from people from all walks of life Commitment to Touchstones aims and values Commitment to personal development, learning and reflective practice.
