Welcome! We are so glad you have joined us. If you are new to Chaparral, please stop by the Welcome Center and pick up information about our Church. Getting connected is one of the most important ways to grow your faith and get to know others in meaningful ways.

Dr. Larry Hostetler Founding Minister

During our Lenten Season, consider spending time in our prayer garden and take time to walk the labyrinth. This sacred space is intended for everyone. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place - perfect for meditation and prayer. The north and central gates will be open throughout Lent.

Youth Group
This semester our Sunday morning classes (9:45 a.m.) are focusing on "The Biography of God and His People." From scripture, we are learning about God's character, his desire for us and the lengths He will go to for our sake. Come join us as we learn together. February 24th - Its Oscar Night! Well be playing some moviethemed games and possibly have a costume/look-alike contest during our evening program (more info to come later). March 10th - House Party, just because! Were having a house party over at the Stavlunds during our evening program from 5-6:30. Come on over and hang out!

Chairmans Column
To all culinary artists who use any of Chaparrals kitchens: David Thomas has graciously volunteered to be the kitchen manager for the Church. David is in charge of ordering all equipment and Church supplies for all kitchens on campus. He will make sure that we have what is needed for our various meal events. If you want to use any of the kitchens, rst contact Winnie Bright in the Church ofce to describe and schedule your event. Winnie will then put you in contact with David to discuss what equipment and supplies will be used and Ken Stavlund, who will coordinate setting up tables and chairs for your event. Clean-up is your responsibility the Church does not have a fulltime kitchen janitor or dishwasher to clean up after you. In fact, those who use the kitchens are the best cleaners and dishwashers in the Church!# Larry Gettman

We would love for everyone to be part of our Church photo directory! Our online directory Infellowship allows you to be part of our Church password protected community. It also allows for an online account for paying for VBS, Womens events and so much more! You can allow only the information you want other members of Chaparral to see. From Feb. 17th - March 10th, there will be people in the foyer of the sanctuary (narthex) who can help you set up an account or give you information to do your own. We will also be printing out a directory that will include those who have chosen to participate. If you would like to receive a printed directory, you must be in it. Join the Community TODAY!
