A contracting firm which provides designing and fabrication: of different machines and components to
different industries. Designed, manufactured and provided backup during warrantee period for semiautomatic
hydraulic press for sleeve fixing (of car a/c flexible hose) to Thal Engineering. Designed and supplied automatic
hydraulic batch mixer to Grind Wheels (Pak) Limited.
Thal Engineering is a car air-conditioner manufacturer in collaboration with Nippon Denso of Japan. The machine
carries out part of process in the manufacture of car a/c flexible hose, and is in operation for the last several
years. Designed fabricate and supplied Dumb waiter (fancy cargo lift from kitchen to living room) to private
bungalow. I designed multi-spindle drilling machine to Alteck precision engineering (for ultimate consumption of
Alsons limited). You can see the photographic display of some of the items by visiting the website given above.

A manufacturer of chip board and laminated board: Second span of my service to them was to look after
modification of their plant. The plant has wood-log handling equipment and saw machines, chippers and flakers
of different types, light and heavy duty belt, screw, chain and pneumatic conveying equipment and elevators, chip
stocking and homogenizing bunkers, chip dryer, pneumatic conveying centrifugal blowers, with impeller more
then 2 meters in diameter, different equipment like hammer mills sieve shakers storage silos and bunkers, glue
blending systems, forming machine, prepress, loader, hot press, un-loader, edge-cutter, board coolers etc.
Pakitex is in the process of revamping and modernizing the plant and has employed me for that.

Pakitex is a complex comprising of two chipboard production lines, two lamination lines, glue manufacturing
plant, and urea moulding compound manufacturing plant, with its own power generation. All the correspondence
and coordination on technical matters with the foreign consultants, suppliers is my responsibility. I have an edge
for finding out solutions to the problems on the internet and very strong in communication and technical
correspondence.

Forming machine is the heart of all the process, this machine was completely designed by me and fabricated
under my guidance in Pakitex that doubled the production and improved the quality by 60 %. The hydraulic
medium for the main production line here is water and 5% cutting oil. A completely new system for storage,
filtration and to add cutting oil was designed and installed by me.

Several screw conveyors were designed and installed during this tenure. Complete revamping of the furnace
was carried out, bellow expansion joints were designed by me to eliminate air leakage and installed; these joints
are more than 1500 mm in diameter. Dust collection system was revamped to eliminate dust in the plant and one
dust collector was designed by me and is working. Board cooler chain was modified to reduce downtime.

Study for the installation of new dryer at Pakitex-1 was conducted by me for the assistance of a foreign
equipment supplier. Because of a major accident column of the press broke, repair work of the press main frame
was devised and supervised by me without any foreign assistance.

in the equipment: 1. Design, fabrication in-house and installation of bypass conveyor to off-load the chips on the
floor of the storage hall in the event the storage bunker is full. 2. Modification of all the cylinders in different
equipment to incorporate Polyurethane hydraulic seals in place of rubber-canvas or leather seals and chevron-
packings. 3. Modification of forming station; was carried out by raising it by 1200 mm and installing vibrating
sieves; the board now is multiple-layer with fine material on the surfaces and coarser within. 4. Replacement of
old mechanically/pneumatic operated spindle type pilot valves with Tiefenbach GmbH (Water Hydraulic) solenoid
valves. 5. Design and installation of filter and suction header for the battery of water hydraulic plunger pumps.
