Ports Regulator: Roadshow and Invitation to comment on the Proposed Tariff Methodology and Pricing Strategy for port

The Regulator wishes to establish a tariff methodology and tariff structure for port tariffs over the medium term. An invitation is hereby extended to port users and interested or affected parties to attend public hearings on a tariff structure and tariff methodology for the setting of tariffs by the Ports Regulator at the venues and times listed below. The tariff methodology that will result from this process will inform the way in which the port tariffs are calculated over the medium term (and consequently the revenue the Ports Regulator allows the NPA to raise). The tariff strategy that results from this process will influence the structure and weighting of the tariffs (i.e. which commodities and customer groupings get to pay what proportions of the total revenue recovered by the NPA). The NPAs proposed tariff methodology and tariff strategy shall be presented at the hearings.
