There are many transitions and changes that happen in this century. The globalization phase lies in this modern era. According to Thomas L. Friedman, globalization can be divided into 3 phases which are globalization I (1492-1800), globalization II (1800-2000) and globalization III (2000present). In brief, we are now in the globalization III. The most significant changes that occurred here is the ITs sector. IT stands for Information Technology. Information technology is a new branch in the world today and it can be defined as the used of applications in a computers, machines, gadgets, telephones and satellites to store data, retrieve back the stored data, to transmit data from one end device to another end device or between intermediary device and also to manipulate the data receive. In order to make sure that the IT branch is working and run smoothly we need to have a person who is good at handling it. We need the IT professionals here. IT professional is a person who is good at making the peoples business becomes much better, easier and up to date. They worked in many different kinds of sectors such as Database Administration, Programming, Software Engineering, Systems and Networking, Web Development, E-Business, and E-Commerce. IT professionals are responsible to do four different basic things in order to develop the technologies which are creating, develop, operate and maintain. Knowledge, training and experience have got to be on the IT professional lists. Knowledge can be gain through the education that we get when we were in high school, colleges, higher institutions, and also from the E-learning through the internet every day. How about training and experience? When we go for something and achieve excellent results, by the end of the day we will get a reward. Same goes for training. When we go for training, we will be certified. It means we were certified by a certain information technology professional certifications for products that we are into. It is way different than the degree certification which takes us years to finish. It takes only a short period of time to finish like maybe about a month. It is being awarded to those who have achieved their required qualifications in their sector. Lastly, experience can be divided into two which are practical experience and working experience. Our first or starting experience is going to be the time when we were doing our Industrial Training and the next one is when we start working after finishing study and graduate from the institutions. Nevertheless, do you really think that with all the knowledge, training, and working experience that we have can really determine that we were born as a real IT professional? The answer will be no if we do not have the awareness towards the ethics. Ethics is an attitude and a moral value. It comes out with a culture.
