I am running for Village Board President because: I enjoy giving back to the community in a result-oriented organization. Good planning, I believe, has enhanced the quality of life in La Grange and I want to support that quality in the future. I have been fortunate to lead in the private, non-profit, and public sector and am committed to bringing those experiences to service as Village President. Community Service: La Grange Village Board Trustee, 2003 2009; during time as trustee assisted on pension reform, phasing out Tax Increment District (TIF) and protecting TIF reserves; supported parking garage, theater investment, cost containment initiatives, reduction of debt, an upgrade in bond ratings and launched multi-year storm system modernization. Professional Experience: Chaired private industry and non-profit boards; lead efforts on strategic plan developments; worked with development community, resulting in new retail and office space in Chicago and enhancing economic strength of communities; as head of organizations, strengthened customer relationship management and operating culture. La Grange Resident: 14 years, married with three children

is a non-partisan, volunteer organization dating back to the 1930s, which serves the residents of La Grange, Illinois by seeking, evaluating, and recommending candidates for the Village, Library, and Park District Boards. It is not a caucus or a political party. Rather the Council strives to promote and maintain the best possible government for all La Grange citizens, comprising representatives from each of the 11 voting districts within La Grange. I am running for Village Trustee because: It has been an honor to serve the citizens of La Grange as a trustee, I am proud to have been a part of many successful initiatives in La Grange, including our cost containment plan and economic development (e.g. the parking garage and support of the movie theater). I am committed to serving our citizens and will continue to work with the residents, businesses, board and staff to keep La Grange working. Community Service: Appointed Village Trustee in April 2000, elected 2001, re-elected 2005 and 2009; Park District Commissioner, 19952000 (1999 and 2000 as President).
