ORDER: The Commissioner of Fisheries, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has submitted proposal for sanction of an amount of Rs.2,97,568/- stating that Smt.T.Raja Rajeswari, Fisheries Development Officer, office of the Deputy Director Fisheries, Machilipatnam, Krishna District has submitted medical claim for an amount of Rs.2,97,568/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Ninety seven thousand Five Hundred and sixty Eight only), who had undergone treatment for self for Carcinoma post cricoids and upper oesophagus at G.Kuppuswami Naidu Memorial Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, as inpatient for the period from 05.12.2008 to 04.07.2009 incurred by her. The matter was referred to the Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad for his remarks/scrutiny. The Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has scrutinized the medical bills and allowed for an amount of Rs.1,53,000/- (Rupees One lakh Fifty Three Thousand only) which is admissible and advised to claim the amount, after getting relaxation orders from Government since the treatment obtained at out of State in un-recognised private Hospital. The Commissioner of Fisheries has requested the Government to consider the case and communicate necessary orders in the matter. 2. After careful examination, Government hereby accord sanction for an amount of Rs.1,53,000/- (Rupees One lakh Fifty Three Thousand only) in relaxation of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Medical Attendance (APIMA) Rules 1972 read with G.O.Ms.No.74, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (K1) Department, dated 15.3.2005, G.O.Ms.No.180, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (K1) Department, dated 11.5.2006, G.O.Ms.No.105, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (K1) Department, dated.9.4.2007 and G.O.Ms.No.397, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (K1) Department, dated 14.11.2008 in favour of Smt.T. Raja Rajeswari, Fisheries Development Officer, office of the Deputy Director Fisheries, Machilipatnam, Krishna District, who had undergone treatment for self for Carcinoma post cricoids and upper oesophagus (CANCER) at G.Kuppuswami Naidu Memorial Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamilndau, as inpatient for the period from 05.12.2008 to 04.07.2009. 3. The amount sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to the Head of Account in which her pay and allowances are being drawn.

The Commissioner of Fisheries, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly. 5.
