In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Haroon (peace be upon him) in The Quran

__________________________________________________________

And their Prophet said to them: Verily! The sign of His Kingdom is that there shall come to
you At-Taboot (a wooden box), wherein is Sakinah (peace and reassurance) from your Lord
and a remnant of that which Musa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron) left behind, carried by the
angels. Verily, in this is a sign for you if you are indeed believers. [002:248]

Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nooh (Noah) and the
Prophets after him; We (also) inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac),
Yaqoob (Jacob), and AlAsbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job),
Yoonus (Jonah), Haroon (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawood (David) We gave
the Zaboor (Psalms).

And We bestowed upon him (Ibraheem (Abraham)) Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob),
each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nooh (Noah), and among his progeny
Dawood (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yoosuf (Joseph), Moosa (Moses), and
Haroon (Aaron). Thus do We reward the gooddoers. [006:084]

And We appointed for Moosa (Moses) thirty nights and added ten (more), and he completed
the term, appointed by his Lord, of forty nights. And Moosa (Moses) said to his brother
Haroon (Aaron): “Replace me among my people, act in the Right Way and follow not the
way of the Mufsidoon (mischief-makers).” [007:142]

And when Moosa (Moses) returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said: “What an evil
thing is that which you have done (worshipping the calf) during my absence. Did you
hasten and go ahead as regards the matter of your Lord (you left His worship)?” And he
threw down the Tablets and seized his brother by (the hair of) his head and dragged him
towards him. Haroon (Aaron) said: “O son of my mother! Indeed the people judged me
weak and were about to kill me, so make not the enemies rejoice over me, nor put me
amongst the people who are Zalimoon (wrong-doers).” [007:150]

Then after them We sent Moosa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron) to Firaun (Pharaoh) and his
chiefs with Our Ayat (signs). But they behaved arrogantly and were Mujrimoon (criminals)
folk. [010:075]

And mention in the Book (this Quran) Moosa (Moses). Verily! He was chosen and he was a
Messenger (and) a Prophet. [019:051]

And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a
talk with him (Moosa (Moses)). [019:052]

I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His
servant and messenger

And We bestowed on him his brother Haroon (Aaron), (also) a Prophet, out of Our Mercy.
[019:053]

(Moosa (Moses)) said: “O my Lord! Open for me my chest. [020:025]

“And ease my task for me; [020:026]

“And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, [020:027]

“That they understand my speech, [020:028]

“And appoint for me a helper from my family, [020:029]

“Haroon (Aaron), my brother; [020:030]

“Increase my strength with him, [020:031]

“And let him share my task, [020:032]

“That we may glorify You much, [020:033]

“And remember You much, [020:034]

“Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer.” [020:035]

Allah said: “You are granted your request, O Moosa (Moses)! [020:036]

Then Moosa (Moses) returned to his people in a state of anger and sorrow. He said: “O my
people! Did not your Lord promise you a fair promise? Did then the promise seem to you
long in coming? Or did you desire that wrath should descend from your Lord on you, so you
broke your promise to me?” [020:086]

They said: “We broke not the promise to you, of our own will, but we were made to carry
the weight of the ornaments of the people, then we cast them (into the fire), and that was
what As-Samiri suggested.” [020:087]

Then he took out (of the fire) for them a statue of a calf which seemed to low. They said:
“This is your ilah (god), and the ilah (god) of Moosa (Moses), but (Moosa (Moses)) has
forgotten (his god).” [020:088]

Did they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power
either to harm them or to do them good? [020:089]

And Haroon (Aaron) indeed had said to them beforehand: “O my people! You are being tried
in this, and verily, your Lord is (Allah) the Most Beneficent, so follow me and obey my
order.” [020:090]

They said: “We will not stop worshipping it, until Moosa (Moses) returns to us.” [020:091]

(Moosa (Moses)) said: “O Haroon (Aaron)! What stopped you when you saw them going
astray; [020:092]

“That you followed me not? Have you then disobeyed my order?” [020:093]

He (Haroon (Aaron)) said: “O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard, nor by my
head! Verily, I feared lest you should say: You have caused a division among the Children of
Israel, and you have not respected my word!” [020:094]

And indeed We granted to Moosa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron) the criterion and a shining
light and a Reminder for Al-Muttaqoon (the pious). [021:048]

Those who fear their Lord without seeing Him, while they are afraid of the Hour. [021:049]

Then We sent Moosa (Moses) and his brother Haroon (Aaron), with Our Ayat (signs) and
manifest authority, [023:045]

To Firaun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they behaved insolently and they were people self-
exalting. [023:046]

They said: “Shall we believe in two men like ourselves, and their people are obedient to us
with humility.” [023:047]

So they denied them both and became of those who were destroyed. [023:048]

And indeed We gave Moosa (Moses) the Scripture (Taurat (Torah)), and placed his brother
Haroon (Aaron) with him as a helper; [025:035]

And We said: “Go you both to the people who have denied Our Ayat (evidences, signs).”
Then We destroyed them with utter destruction. [025:036]

And (remember) when your Lord called Moosa (Moses) (saying): “Go to the people who are
Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers), [026:010]

The people of Firaun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?” [026:011]

He said: “My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, [026:012]

“And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Haroon (Aaron) (to
come along with me). [026:013]

Then Moosa (Moses) threw his stick, and behold, it swallowed up all the falsehoods which
they showed! [026:045]

And the sorcerers fell down prostrate. [026:046]

Saying: “We believe in the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
[026:047]

I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His
servant and messenger

“The Lord of Moosa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron).” [026:048]

Then, when Moosa (Moses) had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his family, he saw
a fire in the direction of Toor (Mount). He said to his family: “Wait, I have seen a fire;
perhaps I may bring to you from there some information, or a burning fire-brand that you
may warm yourselves.” [028:029]

So when he reached it (the fire), he was called from the right side of the valley, in the
blessed place from the tree: “O Moosa (Moses)! Verily! I am Allah, the Lord of the Alameen
(mankind, jinns and all that exists). [028:030]

“And throw your stick!” But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight,
and looked not back. (It was said): “O Moosa (Moses)! Draw near, and fear not. Verily, you
are of those who are secure. [028:031]

“Put your hand in your bosom, it will come forth white without a disease, and draw your
hand close to your side to be free from fear. These are two Burhan (signs, miracles,
evidences) from your Lord to Firaun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs. Verily, they are the people
who are Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [028:032]

He said: “My Lord! I have killed a man among them, and I fear that they will kill me.
[028:033]

“And my brother Haroon (Aaron) he is more eloquent in speech than me so send him with
me as a helper to confirm me. Verily! I fear that they will belie me.” [028:034]

Allah said: “We will strengthen your arm through your brother, and give you both power, so
they shall not be able to harm you, with Our Ayat (signs), you two as well as those who
follow you will be the victors.” [028:035]

And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Moosa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron). [037:114]

And We saved them and their people from the great distress; [037:115]

And helped them, so that they became the victors; [037:116]

And We gave them the clear Scripture; [037:117]

And guided them to the Right Path; [037:118]

And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times;
[037:119]

Salamun (peace) be upon Moosa (Moses) and Haroon (Aaron)!” [037:120]

Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinoon (good-doers). [037:121]

Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. [037:122]

And indeed, warnings came to the people of Firaun (Pharaoh). [054:041]

They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in
Might and Perfect in Ability. [054:042]

I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His
servant and messenger
