Kellogg Ave., Wichita, KS 316-685-2221 Services include help with: depression, sadness, grief, anxiety, worry, nervousness , addictive behaviors, relationship problems, stress from medical problems and/or pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional problems, such as managing anger, vocational issues, troublesome thoughts or ideas, confused thinking, aggressive or self-harming behaviors, and memory problems. VA Medical Centers without a specific PTSD Program do offer PTSD Treatment: Contact your local VA Medical Center and ask for the Mental Health Clinic. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) The Salvation Army

Serves those at risk of becoming homeless or currently homeless, and reside or plan to reside in the state of Kansas. Services include: homeless prevention, rapid re-housing, and a menu of supportive services (e.g., life skills training, job preparation, credit repair, transportation assistance) as well as assistance from peer mentors. Riley, Kansas. Transition services. Three major military installations located in Kansas: Ft. Leavenworth, Ft. Riley & McConnell Air Force Base provide transition assistance and disabled transition assistance briefings to help service members as they transition from military to civilian life. Service members may also receive pre-separation counseling prior to retirement or separation from active duty.
