Topics & Projects from Completed Courses

Team Design (Senior) Project:
• Working with fellow students, built dynamic Adhoc network around module based C variant nesC
inside TinyOS. Wireless nodes and framework donated from Rincon Research Corporation.
Electrical Engineering:
• circuits, MOSFET, BJT, digital signal transmission & processing, probability theory, Fourier transforms.
Computer Engineering:
various topics: RTL Design of digital systems, verilog, embedded & real-time operating systems
• Using the Virtex-II Pro microcontroller with on board FPGA, coded in C all elements of the classic
arcade game 'Space Invaders' playable via the VGA output of the Virtex board. This software was tied
in with various hardware modules written in VHDL including: hardware interrupts, Direct Memory
Access, a Sound controller, and interfacing to external custom hardware (Sega gamepad)
