DATA MANAGEMENT PLATFORM FlowWorks has added integration of GIS information to its data management platform that monitors rainfall, climate, groundwater, pump stations and more. Users view parameters stored in their GIS systems alongside data from monitoring sites and SCADA systems. As a result, engineers and managers access all monitoring data without having to change screens or terminals, or dig around in old les on a secure Web platform. It accepts data from all manufacturers instruments, rain gauges, climate stations and data systems. BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FoundOPS tracks all client information and service history, and creates service schedules. Users dispatch their team by dragging and dropping jobs, or let the programs routing algorithm gure out the most efcient routes. The program can wirelessly send job information and updates to eld technicians smartphones or tablets. Technicians can also get turn-by-turn directions to the site, access client information, and record a service report. Meanwhile, business owners can track their progress and GPS location. Once the job is completed, an invoice is automatically created in the companys QuickBooks account, with all billing information already lled in. INPUT/OUTPUT EXPANSION Wireless Input/Output (I/O) expansion systems from FreeWave Technologies allow users to monitor and control plunger lift. Wireless I/O radios transmit varying data to producers ofces, allowing them to monitor casing, tubing, intermediate and surface pressure. Depending on how many points are needed, it may be benecial to look for a provider who offers multiple I/O points, also known as I/O expansion. LEASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE The landAMPS program from geoAMPS is designed to meet the needs of fast-paced lease acquisitions and management of drill schedules. The program allows access to mineral rights information through a centralized system, and manages lease checks, environmental studies, mineral title research, depth severances, legal processes and ownership changes. It automates recurring and non-recurring payment obligations, including royalty payments. The program includes optional mobile, detached and GIS mapping platforms, allowing workers in the eld to review maps and data, and input and receive information through mobile devices. The detached platform provides continued access even when an Internet connection is lost or unreliable. The Web-access system transmits real-time data either via GSM/GPRS networks or the Iridium satellite network. DIXON ACQUIRES EAGLE AMERICA


Dixon, manufacturer and supplier of hose ttings and accessories, acquired Eagle America. Established in 1979 and based in Warwick, R.I., Eagle manufactures gate and globe bellows seal valves. It will become a division of Dixon. Manufacturing facilities, administrative ofces and employees will remain in Rhode Island.

HINO APPROVED FOR CALIFORNIA HYBRID INCENTIVE


The 2013MY Class 5 195h diesel electric cabover from Hino Trucks is approved by the California Air Resources Board and is eligible for the California Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project. The program was created to accelerate deployment of hybrid and zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle technologies.

FLOWSERVE NAMES VICE PRESIDENTS


Flowserve Corp. named Carey A. OConnor senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. She succeeds Ron Stuff who is retiring in the rst quarter of 2013 after 25 years with the company. Flowserve Corp. also named John E. (Jay) Rouche III vice president, treasurer and investor relations. He will be responsible for managing strategies, operations and practices related to corporate nance.

MUELLER SYSTEMS, INTERNAP FORM PARTNERSHIP


Mueller Systems, provider of water infrastructure products and advanced metering systems for water and gas, partnered with hosting services company Internap to provide reliable and secure access to metering data through the advanced metering infrastructure network.

STEINERT CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING, PRESENTS CHECK


Steinert US, supplier of separation equipment for the material recovery industry, celebrated the grand opening of its North American headquarters in Walton, Ky. The remodeled 40,000-square-foot facility houses administrative ofces, expanded parts warehouse, test lab and manufacturing and repair operations. The company also presented a check for $26,298 to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital on behalf of its customers, vendors and industry partners who participated in the September Charity Golf outing.

POWERBLANKET MOVES TO NEW FACILITY


Powerblanket moved its ofces to a 58,000-square-foot facility at 3130 S 1030 W, Salt Lake City, Utah. The new location includes a warehouse and 50- by 100-foot product testing freezer.

LUCIDITY ENTERPRISE ACQUIRES OPTRONICS INTERNATIONAL


Taiwan-based Lucidity Enterprise Co. acquired Optronics International, manufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty vehicle lighting. Optronics will operate as an independent business unit and maintain its headquarters in Tulsa, Okla., manufacturing facility in Muskogee, Okla., and distribution center in Elkhart, Ind.

GSE SYSTEMS LAUNCHES GLOBAL BRAND, WEBSITE


GSE Systems launched a global brand that highlights its commitment to quality and innovation in simulation, training and engineering services for the petroleum industry. The company also launched a new website, www. gses.com, and acquired TAS Engineering Consultants and EnVision Systems. GSE will use the EnVision name as the trademark for product lines acquired in the transaction, including e-learning tools, tutorials and universal simulations.

ITT PLANS $22 MILLION SENECA FALLS EXPANSION PSG OPENS CHINA MANUFACTURING FACILITY
Pump Solutions Group opened a manufacturing plant in Shanghai, China. The 11,000-square-meter facility includes pump manufacturing and testing, hydraulic lab for on-site product testing, training room and product showroom.

ITT Corp. will invest $22 million in its Seneca Falls, N.Y., manufacturing operations, research and development laboratory. The move was driven by the growth of ITT and its Goulds Pumps brand in the global oil and gas industry. The expansion will include construction of a 75,000-square-foot facility, focusing on high-energy pump packages. The project is scheduled for completion late this year.
