The Art of Living, in the past years, has organized many educational and social projects for school children such as Mega Art Competition, Clean Delhi NCR Drive, Educators Meet and Yogathon touching more than 10 lakhs students in over 3000 schools with an objective to impart practical and value based education to children.

'Volunteer for a Better India' Campaign is an Art of Living initiative. A Citizen's Action Plan encouraging the citizens of the country to give 'One Hour to the Nation' and making Community Service a way of Life. In the next 2 months over 2000 projects involving lacs of people in Delhi-NCR are envisaged to be initiated around various social issues focusing primarily on (i) Environment and Cleanliness (ii) De-addiction (iii) Girl Child and Women Safety (iv) Work for Senior Citizens (v) Education and Entrepreneurship

Children can be the ambassadors for a mindset change and this will ensure 'Volunteer for a Better India' is not just a campaign but the attitude of the society. With an objective of building a Peaceful, Prosperous, Just and Non-discriminatory India, we invite your school to participate in the campaign in the following manner: My Idea of Building a Better India - Competition: Conduct a 30 minutes idea competition at your school premises for students of classes VI - XII & select one best idea per section. The Best Idea selected will be recognized with a certificate. The competition will be organized on December 19, 2012 in all schools

Create a Campaign for your school: The school may pick up a social issue as mentioned above and conduct activities related to them. Campaign Theme: 'Give 1 hour to your Country'

Make A Difference - Day: School can make a mass appeal to public to give 1 hour to their Country by way of Posters, Rallies, Marathon, Walkathon, Signing pledge forms, Pledge Boards, etc on January 30, 2013 (Martyr's Day). The certificate will be awarded to School & individual students. To confirm your school participation in the campaign request you to fill the registration form.
