Describe briefly your current computing and software development activities, and how you anticipate this workshop will impact your work.
Currently my computing and software development activities are focused on COMSOL Multiphysics,MATLAB and Fortran 90 . I am also developing a fluid dynamic model using finite element method after which I will code using MATLAB. I forsee that this course would improve my work by helping me know the tools that will assist me to develope parallel programs and also to enhance my workflow. I also want to meet experts and fellow scientist to learn and share thoughts.

_________________________________________________________________________________ What specific skills do you wish to acquire or improve during this school?
I wish to acquire skills in 1. Knowing how to use OpenMP model to accomplish what thread programming for HPC can do. 2. Knowing how to use MPI between server nodes and then OpenMP/threads within a single server nodes. 3.To know how to create hybrid programs that use both OpenMP and MPI.

I forsee that this workshop will expand my horizon in computer programming and as well as acquisition of requisite skills needed for human resource developement in my institute and my country at large. My institute which is National nuclear research institute is about acquiring HPC for scientific research and so this workshop will be valuable to me and the institute in this regard.
