The Brother PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 Plus Mobile Printers are the newest generation of the popular and reliable PocketJet family of full-size, 8 " wide mobile printers. These lightweight printers feature faster print speed, up to 6 ppm, high-quality output, up to 300 dpi, compact size, ease of operation, and the proven reliability of direct thermal printing technology. Four models to choose from: PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 with Bluetooth technology Print resolution - 203 X 200 dpi For crisp printing of forms and reports High-quality output while helping to lower the cost of mobile printing PocketJet 6 Plus and PocketJet 6 Plus with Bluetooth technology Print resolution - 300 X 300 dpi Laser-quality document printing For applications that require the best output for text, graphics, and logos The PocketJet 6 Plus mobile printers feature high-quality, 300 dpi printing for applications that require the best output for text and graphics. The PocketJet 6 printers, with 200 dpi resolution, provide a high-quality output while helping to lower the cost of mobile printing. Each printer comes standard with USB 2.0 and IrDA interfaces, and a Bluetooth wireless technology interface is available as an option. The PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 Plus mobile printers also have a number of advanced features to help improve overall performance: optional Li-ion battery for increased battery yield and longer battery life, Bluetooth Imaging Protocol support for downloading and printing JPEG files, the ability to store document overlays in the printer* to minimize data transfer, and full-featured design software for creating and downloading the document overlays. The PocketJet 6 mobile printers weigh less than 1.4 lbs. with the NiMH battery and measure about 10" L x 2.2" W x 1.2" H. When used with the NiMH battery, the PocketJet 6 printers have the same small form factor as previous models, so you can immediately upgrade to the PocketJet 6 to take advantage of the new product features and improved performance while preserving your investment in vehicle mounts and other accessories. The Brother PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 Plus mobile printers use the proven and reliable direct thermal printing technology, which provides several benefits, including: low maintenance costs - no ink or ribbons to replace, higher reliability than other technologies due to fewer moving parts, quiet printing, and the ability to mount the printer in a vehicle in just about any orientation. The compact design of the PocketJet 6 allows the printers to fit in places where space is limited, and the short paper path means there is less chance of a paper jam or misfeed. The PocketJet 6 mobile printers are available in multiple configurations in order to give you the greatest flexibility. The printers can be purchased separately for in-vehicle installations, or in one of several kits, which can include a battery, cables, power adapters, documentation, carrying case, and paper. Optional vehicle mounts are also available.

Synthetic, weatherproof media is available for documents that are exposed to the environment, such as work orders, citations, receipts, and more. PocketJet 6 Kits
The Brother PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 Plus printers are available in several configurations to provide flexibility for your specific application. All PocketJet 6 and PocketJet 6 Plus Kits include a printer, carrying case, NiMH battery, USB cable, AC adapter and power cord, a pack of letter-size thermal paper, roller cleaning sheet, software CD, and documentation.

Software development kits are available for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry applications. Full-featured design software for creating and downloading the form overlays is included with the printers.
