of the African continent. The vehicle stops
somewhere within the Kijuju Autonomous Region,

PC Settings
You can change the various game settings so that they are appropriate for
your computer. The choices that you can make may vary based upon your
computer environment.

Screen Resolution
Allows you to set Motion Blur (The expression of blur to show objects in
motion) on or off. When it is on you can enjoy a more natural feeling to
your game, but it increase the burden on the PC.
Motion Blur
Allows you to set the shadow quality. When it is set to High, you can
enjoy the game with higher quality shadows, but it increases the burden
on the PC.
Shadow Detail
Allows you to set the texture quality. When it is set to High, you can
enjoy the game with higher quality texture, but it increases the burden on
the PC.
Texture Detail
Allows you to set the screen quality. When it is set to High, you can
enjoy the game with higher quality screen, but it increases the burden on
the PC.
Overall Quality
Change the display frequency.
Refresh Rate
When this is on, you suppress page tearing, but even if the PC has
capabilities, there is a chance that the designated frame rate wont come
out.
Vertical Sync
You can change the frame rate (how many times the screen images are
produced in one second) . The higher the number, the smoother the
appearance of the screen. When you set to Vary, it provides a higher
frame rate depending upon your PC.
Framerate
Decide whether to use or not use Anti-Aliasing (the processing the makes
suppresses the screens jerky feeling). The higher the number, the greater
graphics you will be able to enjoy, but it places a burden on the PC.
Anti-Aliasing
You can toggle between Window and Full Screen.
Display Mode
Estimates the processing speed of your PC.
The contents of the test change every day, so there may be
differences is the results even in the same environment, but
allows for a more realistic simulation of what the game playing
is like.

determine the results of making changes to the environment.

COOPERATIVE PLAY
Two players can assume the roles of Chris and Sheva and enter into
cooperative play.
After working with a partner to activate a mechanism, you may encounter a rare
situation in which the game cannot advance any further after Co-Op Play is ended.
If game play cannot continue, please open the Pause Menu and choose restart.
* This title cannot be played in co-op with the Xbox 360 .
HOSTING A GAME
Select the hosting option from the NETWORK screen when you select either
NEW GAME or CHAPTER SELECT from the PLAY GAME menu.
(You can play through the game while waiting for another player to join.)
NETWORK SELECTION
You can select the method of
connecting to the network.
CO-OP SETTINGS
You can place restrictions on who will
be allowed to join your game from the
NETWORK screen.
After you have conrmed your
settings, the game will begin as usual.
A message will be displayed in the
upper left corner of the screen when
a player attempts to join. Follow
onscreen instructions to permit or

Choose the JOIN GAME option in the MODE SELECT screen to join a game
already in progress.

QUICK MATCH
Search for a host without any
specications.
CUSTOM MATCH
Search for a host according to a set of
customizable specications.
You will then be able to choose which
game to join. Conrm your selection
with the with the Enter key (A button).

History
In order to obtain a sample of the
T-Veronica virus, Wesker attacks
Rockfort Island with his own
private military force and releases
the T-Virus onto the island.
Continuing his search for his sister
Claire, Chris arrives at Rockfort
Island and nds Wesker.
Claire and Chris are reunited at
the Antarctic Base, and together
they defeat Alexia. They escape
in a Harrier jet before the base is
destroyed.
Chris and Jill take part in the
mission to destroy the Umbrella
Caucasus Research Facility in
Russia. They were successful in
destroying a new B.O.W. known as
T-A.L.O.S.

90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
CAPCOM ENTERTAINMENT, INC.
(CAPCOM) warrants to the original
consumer that this game disc from CAPCOM
shall be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of 90 days from
date of purchase. If a defect covered by this
warranty occurs during this 90-day warranty
period, CAPCOM will replace the game disc
free of charge.
To receive this warranty service:
1. Notify the CAPCOM Consumer Service
Department of the problem requiring warranty
service by calling (650) 350-6700. Our
Consumer Service Department is in operation
from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacic Time,
Monday through Friday.
2. If the CAPCOM service technician is unable
to solve the problem by phone, he/she
will instruct you to return the game disc to
CAPCOM freight prepaid at your own risk of
damage or delivery. We recommend sending
your game disc certied mail. Please include
your sales slip or similar proof of purchase
within the 90-day warranty period to:

This warranty shall not apply if the game disc
has been damaged by negligence, accident,
unreasonable use, modication, tampering

REPAIRS AFTER EXPIRATION OF WARRANTY
If the game disc develops a problem after
the 90-day warranty period, you may contact
the CAPCOM Consumer Service Department
at the phone number noted previously. If
the CAPCOM service technician is unable
to solve the problem by phone, he/she may
instruct you to return the defective DVDROM
to CAPCOM freight prepaid at your own risk
of damage or delivery, enclosing a check or
money order for $20.00 (U.S. funds) payable to
CAPCOM. We recommend sending your game
disc certied mail. CAPCOM will replace the
game disc subject to the conditions above. If
replacement game discs are not available, the
defective product will be returned to you and
the $20.00 payment refunded.
