By Meghan Stoneburner Wha t a re the be st a sp ects of your inte rnship ? My internship is more amazing than I ever thought it would be. I have the luxury of soaking up tons of amazing information that isn't taught in college. There have been 2 events so far that I have attended with my internship boss that have brought me around Marketing professionals and SEO experts. I absolutely love networking with people that I would love to work with and learn from. There have even been a handful of people that have insisted on getting my business card so they can talk to me about potential job offers. I'm very lucky to be in such an amazing position.

Wha t skill s are y ou dev el op ing ? I learn something new every week and it's usually surrounding SEO, social media, blogging, and event marketing. I am currently working on my own blog with the encouragement of my boss and she has helped me develop an SEO plan for my blog. I truly believe this internship is going to lead me to the career of my dreams. Ne tw or king
Its all about who you know, and it goes beyond family and friends. Get to know your professors. Inform them of your interest so they will mention your name if something comes up their way. Thats what happened to me and I am now an SEO intern all thanks to a referral by Marketing professor.

JOE VIDAL, a web developer intern for HEWLETT PACKARDS Solution Center in Alpharetta happened to know the right people who thought of him when the internship position opened up. He gives credit to his networking skill and encourages others to get out there and meet people.
